High quality

Having been a Meat Cutter in commercial/wholesale/supermarket settings many years ago, I had acquired an appreciation of quality utensils. In the intervening 50+ years I have used/owned many good and bad such knives and as far as I am concerned this is one of the best high-end products I have ever used.

I don't often write reviews about anything.However this knife is so special It deserves a few of my minutes.The San Moritz Elité 9" Chef's Knife has wonderful balance and weight, handles beautifully, feels comfortable and looks awesome. The factory edge is razor sharp. This baby is a joy to use. In fact, a chance to use my Messermeister is the main reason I eat salad... I've only had it a short while, but I know Mr. Messermeister will always be welcome in my kitchen.

I am not a chef, but I do alot of cutting. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of this knife. It is the sharpest knife I have ever used. Fits nicely in my hand. It is a bit on the heavy side, which I like, so that would be my only concern for other buyers. Very nice knife.
