4Good But........
By T. Leech
We have had this wagon for a year now. It is still wheeling along, but the paint is peeling off and there are a few spots of rust and the wooden stakes on the sides are almost off too. The review says not to use it for rocks and firewood because the rails are small. I would have to add to that list a 28 pound 2 year old that just can't sit still because that has made the wood railings come off also. I guess for one of their lower end wagons it was a good deal while it lasted but I am looking into a larger more comfortable one now. THe wheels on this one are quite small and hard to manuever unless you are on the street. (it is nearly impossible to get up and down off the sidewalk if there is no built in ramp) And don't even bother pulling it through grass. Spend the extra money and get one of the all terrain wheeled wagons.... it will be worth it!!

3NH Mom of Two
By A Customer
When we recieved this wagon as a gift, we were anxious to begin taking our 3 year old and one year old for rides in the neighborhood, but we soon found that even with blankets, the wagon is uncomfortable for the kids, and we find it hard to maneuver. The sides are pretty low, and there is no padding or storage space. I was really disappointed that the paint began to peel after just one year, even though the wagon was kept in the garage. Now we have a Step Two Wagon for two, and we are much happier.

4Nice little wagon
By c2
This is a nice wagon but we have had the same trouble as others - the wood sides just don't hold up. They fall out all the time and it just gets aggravating. Wish I would have thought about an all-terrain wagon - that certainly would have lasted longer and I wouldn't be so aggravated. The assembly was okay, but I just think for the money, you could get something that was a little nicer and would hold up better. I'm thinking about replacing ours with something more sturdier. Our little one is quite rambunctious with things and this wagon really has trouble keeping up with our little one.

5Has never let me down
By Z. Abedin
I am writing this review because I feel like, after having this lens for almost 7 years, I owe this lens a favor. (Note: I shoot nikon, and as such, this review is for the nikon mount version of the lens, though I'm sure most of what I say would carry over)This was my first zoom lens after I got into SLR photography, and its been to lots of places with me. Its not the sharpest lens out there at every focal length, but it performs well and its consistent. It focuses really quickly, and I find that it doesn't get confused in most situations (of course, very dim light and macro are the two places this lens has trouble focusing, but thats to be expected for any lens at any price.) The zoom feels good and its easy to control. The internal focus (IF) design is great since this lens also doubles as a macro lens. The macro feature at 135 seems un-necessary at first but i've found myself using it a few times and it makes taking photos just a little more fun. Unlike the other "off-brand" brands of lenses, this lens is made in japan, and you can definitely feel that in the build quality. It has a nice feel to it and the metal mount has stood up well over the years. As far as durability goes, I know that this lens has surpassed my expectations. In fact, about 4 years ago, I accidentally let this lens roll off a bookshelf onto a hard tile floor (It was terrifying!). Much to my surprise, the lens actually wasn't cracked, all of the zoom functions were fine, and the only thing that changed was that my focus ring doesn't operate quite as smoothly as it used to. Otherwise, this lens has held it together, and I'm happy I got it, since it proved to be a perfect lens to learn photography with.

4Very Good Lens
By A Customer
I have a Minolta Maxxim 400i that came with the 35-70mm lens. On a vacation, the lens mounting was broken. I looked at Minolta as well as third party lenses. I have been very pleased with the abilities of the Sigma 28-135mm lens. The added versitility of the wider zoom range means I don't have to change lenses as often. The lens mounting is metal as well. The only drawback, and this is questionable due to its advantages, is the 62mm filter size. But, I like having the large objective lens for light gathering ablilty. I would highly recomend the Sigma lenses. I would say they are at least as good as Minolta lenses.

4affordable alternative
By A Customer
This lens is a top preformer. It is a solid lens for the novice photography enthusiast. I use it with black and white film as well as some basic color films and everytime the photo turns out nice. The only drawback is the lens construction. It just feels like it is really delicate. Minolta lenses seem to be constructed more sturdy. But hey, just be careful with your camera and everything will be ok.

4sigma zoom
By A Customer
A compact lense that provides the ranges needed in the most common photo opportunities. 28MM wide angle doesn't create the fisheye look like some lenses. The AF zoom does well for the far shots. The mid ranges shots are very good, not perfect (this may have more to do with the AF camera). The weight of the lense does not make focusing or operation of camera any more difficult than a standard 70MM lense. The zoom function is a bit stiff. This lense is sensitive to shock and banging, so be careful. This is my second lense from Sigma. The first one locked up somehow at 80MM. I don't mean that it's not durable. I've used this lense on my roadtips and on hikes. Jus be careful, it is a zoom lense with moving parts.

The lenses optical does provide good shapeness and color. Focusing is quick and manual focusing is good.

Overall, the features you get for this price is well worth the investment.

5Very impressed
By Arkatronik
As a Canon faithful shooter. I bought this lens as part of a package deal with other lenses and cameras. I have been very impressed with the quality and sharpness of the pictures. The Super Macro works really good and locks in at the 200-300 range. While it will not be in permanent inventory of lenses I would highly recommend this to an entry level photographer, or to anyone who doesn't want to drop 1400 on an 70-300 L series lens. I used the Canon 75-300 when I first started in DSLR and the Sigma is a far better lens and cheaper to.

5Make sure you are ordering the "Red Ring" version
By Ben K. Media
Love the lens, would have loved it even more if I was getting the lens shown with the "red ring". That was the sellers fault, not the lens!

4Very good for the price
By A Customer
I'm suprised by one of the others reviewers quality problems. I have pointed the camera both straight up and straight down and the zoom and focus do not move one bit - it is dampened very well. I almost wonder if they are referring to a different model. The lense seems to be high quality and the autofocus is fairly quick and quiet for a lense in this price range. I would definately recommend it to anyone.

5Most used lens I have
By Warren Steffey
Forget landscapes, but for everything else these are my favorite lenses. I have two, because the focus function seems to be very easy to break. The first one fell about 16 inches from a couch to a carpet while in a camera bag, and the second one off a car seat to the car's floor and neither will now auto focus reliably. I really miss having a fully functional lens, but will probably look for a replacement on EBAY if they are this easy to break.

5Great product
By Agent 007
For the price this lens gets the job done. Stopped down to f/7.1 - f10 gives amazing sharpness. As far as I can see there are no chromatic abberations. Focusing is very quick compared to the Tamron 70-300. The Focusing motor is a little noisy. I'm using this lens on the K-r. Because the K-r has a high ISO range, in low light I shoot at ISO 5000 with good quality and no problem. High ISO ranges eliminates the need the for the very expensive f/2.8 lens hype. I'm a wedding photographer and my lenses put in alot of work so I'll update my review soon.

5Not bad for a little guy
By E. K. Arnold
Everyone knows sigma's value-oriented lenses can be hit or miss. I tried the 18-50 and 55-200 dc lenses on my nikon d80 and found them only decent in optical quality--noticeable with the d80's 10.2 mp sensor--and lacking in build quality. but when you step up to the ex line, all of a sudden sigma gets good. the 15mm fisheye is a perfect example of value meeting function. i ordered it for $300 thru amazon, and it took its time getting here. boo!but when it showed up, it was impressive out of the box. the build quality issues with non-ex lenses were nonexistent. this little dude is pretty solidly constructed, with a metal mount, and the metal lens hood just reinforces that notion. the metal hood is needed because the lens itself has a built-in petal that's not only jagged but perilously exposes the lens. the metal hood actually has another function: you can choose between circular and square edges by pulling it off and on your camera. sigma includes a 3-yr warranty with the us version, so avoid the grey market.the 15mm focal length--22.5mm on a d80-- isn't as wide as some of the other options out there, but still wider than the kit lens and much wider than a 28-80 film equivalent. if you used it on a film camera it would be even wider. for dslr users, tokina has a 10-17 fisheye as well as the 12-24 (which i own), and then there's the $$$expensive nikon 10.5 fisheye, as well as the nikon 12-24 (2x the cost of the tokina for basically the same glass). sigma also has a 14mm wide prime, an 8mm f/4, and a 10-20, while tamron has a 11-18. all cost more than the sigma 15, some several hundreds more, which is a factor when getting a specialized lens.still, with a prime literally in the middle of the wide range, you're where you need to be most of the time. the fisheye effect makes this little sigma great for close-ups of people, or groups of people, while the 12-24 tokina is better for landscapes. but with the 2.8, you can take fast pictures in low light -- at f/4, the tokina doesn't excel in this regard, and i wouldn't expect the other f/4s to do so either.for indoor concert shots at close range, the sigma is a winner, a fun lens to have on for capturing that shredding solo or wailing vocal, or getting shots of the performer and the audience at the same time. the fisheye isn't as pronounced as you might expect--held vertically, it all but disappears--making it less of a one-trick lens and more of something you'll want tucked into your kit, just in case, for when you want to go wide. you could probably just stack this with a long telephoto and maybe a mid-prime and cut down on weight for traveling.pros:-at f/2.8, it's much speedier than the 18-70 nikon kit lens, which really needs a flash to focus fast indoors, and almost as sharp as the 50mm 1.8 prime.-being a fisheye, it'll take some time and practice to really master, but for $300, it's more versatile than i thought it would be. while shooting a recent concert indoors from the front row, it stayed on the camera the whole time.-basically it makes the idea of a wide-angle close-up possible.-compact yet rugged package w/ excellent build quality -- it's substantial, not plastic, but still lightweight.-decent warranty.-comes with a nicely padded, zippered case, metal hood, and front and rear lens caps.cons:-not a dedicated wide-angle; fisheye distorts corners and can be a bit tricky to get used to.-not as fishy an eye as some other diagonal fisheye lenses.-in the middle of the wide range -- if you really want to get wide with a dslr, or have a more pronounced fisheye effect, check the 8mm, 10-17, 12-24, and 10.5mm alternatives (all of which are more costly and/or slower).-no zoom (which isn't that big of an issue when shooting live from a photo pit or front row, especially because few zooms are as sharp as a prime).-no macro (get the sigma 50mm 2.8 ex or a nikon prime if you'd rather shoot geraniums than mick jagger).why would you want one?:-it's fun to play with.-dslrs have wide-angle issues.-speedy 2.8 aperture, sharp glass.-not cost-prohibitive for sub-professionals; delivers high-performance at an affordable price.overall, an excellent combination of value and quality that should appeal to those who see life with rounded edges. rock on, lil' dude!

5Great lens
By Enzo Romano
I found that Sigma 15 mm & 20 mm lenses great. Put on my Nikon D100, I can always take picture on every light condition. Especially in shady places where I set the ASA 800 - 1000, this would create a wide depth of field.I don't see any setback in Sigma 15 & 20 mmm lens.
