5Fun
By A Customer
...The directions are pretty easy and it was fun making it. It took me one whole day and I could have done it in less hours if I didn't make mistakes and do some parts all over again. Anyways I recommend this collectible and you can actually move his head! You can put it on your shelf and enjoy the view of Yoda !- Yoda is the best!

5Lego Yoda
By Will
This set is very nice. I bought it and built it in about 3 hours. It wasn't so hard that you can't build it but then again it isn't so simple that your bored to tears making it. You can rotate the head which is pretty cool and the eye slightly move. There are only two things that i disliked about the kit 1) The instructions are shown from a top view which is good but on the head part it shows pieces that are on different levels look the same and 2. on his back which is all beige ( being his robe) they put a gray piece with a lego logo. That was an easy fix, all I did was replace it with a beige one i had from a previous kit.

4A helpful hint to prospective buyers
By A Customer
I recently purchased the very close cousin of this unit, the KDC-MPV7019, at another Internet site. I wanted an in-dash unit that had the ability to play MP3 files. I do a lot of traveling by car and I felt that having 200 or so hand picked songs on one disk in the dash was more convenient than having to load 10 disks in the trunk. I am writing this review to hopefully provide information that I was looking for before I took the plunge and purchased this unit.

I consider myself fairly knowledgeable with car electronics - I have been doing driveway installs on my own cars for 20 years with great success.

I have owned the unit for about a month now and can honestly say that I would purchase it again. Overall, It is built solidly and has great a great sound. As the specs suggest, the tuner is great and pulls in stations that my stock unit could not.

As with any product, there are some things that I would consider shortcomings. First of all, the display has way too much emphasis on form over function. The right third of the display is taken up by a round shape that serves as a clock (or a CD timer) that is hard to interpret. Fine adjustment of the tone controls is cumbersome- It requires several pushes of multiple buttons to get to the bass, treble, and midrange controls - definitely takes your eyes off the road!

Also, it took several attempts to burn MP3 disks that worked perfectly in the car. I had to slow down the burn process to 4X and use the Memorex black CDs. After two weeks of listening to MP3 CDs burned this way, I have not had a skip or glitch yet.

5OFF DA HOOK
By A Customer
i recently purchased a 2002 nissan sentra and I was looking for a new cd player to replace the factory one. I went to Circuit City and I fell in love with this particular model because of all of different colors that were displayed. SO I purchased the cd player and I was so happy because the quality and sound was so clear and crisp. Also in the beginning I had a problem using it because there are many different buttons for special features. Some features are changing colors on the screen (you can choose between 4 or 5 colors), it displays the name of the song and the artist singing. What I like most about the player is that you can customize it. It allows you to name radio stations and certain cd's. Overall this is a hot purchase and it's even hotter if you are a hip-hop head like myself because the base is off the chain :)

3Light duty!!
By L. Dyal
Be very careful to not overheat the gearbox. It's easy to do. This is not a heavy duty tool. If you overheat it the grease turns to oil and you wind up with a mess and a fairly complicated rebuild. So, if you are drilling a large number of holes or even a small number of large holes, feel the forward (black) part of the case occasionally to make sure it's not getting warm. Not hot, just warm as the inside is a lot warmer. If it gets to feeling warm, stop and wait a bit to let it cool. If the grease breaks down and becomes oil it will NOT revert back to grease. While the seals are quite adequate for grease, they are not for oil. It WILL leak! If you observe this limitation you will agree that this is otherwise a five star tool and you'll love the job it does.

5Purchase without hesitation.
By Bruce Q.
I purchased one of these reconditioned "bull-dogs" wich I really like; for a smaller roto-hammer it really works great! I was a little worried about buying a reconditioned product, but it didn't have a single mark on it, came in a brand new case, and was "indestinguishable" from a new product.I really baby mine at home, it's rarely used; but we really "man handle" one at work and it continues to perform great!I also purchased one of those "SDS chuck adapters" from CPO Bosch (for about $50) which I would recommend, so that if necessary, an operator can use a non-SDS type drill bit.Purchase without hesitation.Bruce Q.NE Illinois

5excellent compact camcorder
By Kale R. Johnson
My criteria for a camcorder included compact size & the highest Mega pixel CCD for digital picture clarity. I researched the dcr-pc120, dcr-pc101, canon optura 100 & 200mc. (I decided to stay away from the microMV camcorders namely because they only have 60min max recording tapes and i feel the miniDV's have a larger audience)

I chose the dcr-pc120bt sony because:1. it had a built in quality intelligent flash (4 settings - forced, red eye reduction, off, auto)2. Hologram AF Low Light Laser Assist function (this function is incredible, using a class 1 laser for focusing in low lighting)3. 0 lux nightshot rating4. Progressive shutter system5. Sony's great features and the warranty/options Sony offers

I considered the following equal in my comparison:1. the digital zoom is not much good after 120x, therefore canon's 200x didn't become a factor2. both have carl zeiss lenses3. size4. canon's optical stabilization is basically equivalent to sony's digital stabilization.

cons on the dcr-pc120bt:1. grip and functioning the controls are a bit ackward (it takes a few days to get used to)- the canons 200mc is much more comfortable.2. bluetooth functions pushes up the price.

I have no regrets on buying this camcorder! It took 2 minutes to install the USB driver and my computer recognized the memory stick as a removable disk where I could download pictures. If you can afford it, purchase this high quality pc120bt camcorder.

5It stands out
By M. Suri
During my research I shortlisted following camcorders: Sony dcr-pc120bt , dcr-pc101 and Canon Optura 100mc.All three had very similiar features but120 stood due to following reasons:1) 1.5 Mpixel CCD + progressive shutter2) Halogram LF-- this feature will give even a 3 M.pixel cam run for it's money3) Mpeg movies capability i.e It records Mpeg format on tape/memory stick which you can email as it's many times smaller than video file.4) Built in intelligent flash5) I could buy it for less ...with 5 year warranty. ...

Cons:1) Canon 100mc has Optical stabilizer2) dcr-pc101 has touch screen LCD. ( Idon't know how much I will touch though!)3) Zoom control is on odd place for my big hands!

Camera arrived last week and I compared to the videos of my previous recordings (JVC dv + panasonic DV -- borrowed from friends) and difference is as big as HDTV Vs Regullar and unbeliable Snapshots !

This camera has bluetooth which I will enjoy couple of years later when there are more bluetooth devices.

Anyway , I like it for that price.

5I love the pc120bt
By A Customer
I narrowed my search down to three camcorders: the Sony dcr-pc120bt, the Canon Optura 200mc and the JVC dvm96u. I first purchased the JVC and returned it because I was unhappy with the still picture quality. The next week I did the same with the Canon. I thought that the stills would not bother me because these were infact camcorders, but it did. The Sony is the best purchase I have made in a long while. The still pics are excellent. What sets the Sony apart from the Canon is the fast "low-light" focus. It actually emits infrared lasers (that are visible) to capture a sharp focus. It is a feature that you probably will not notice unless you handle all three camcorders as I did. For a purchase this expensive, I did not mind paying a little more for the Sony. The Sony is by far the best quality out there. It is full of features and the video quality is excellent. The low-light focusing system coupled together with the pop-up flash basically eliminates the need for a dedicated still camera. I keep on enphasizing the still picture quality because that is the true measure of a good lens and that was my criteria for a camcorder; 2-in-1 functionality and compact size. It is posible for someone to be happy with the Canon, but you can't go wrong and will definately love the Sony.

5The best Star Wars action figure Ship to date!
By A Customer
Any kid who has seen the Star Wars: Episode II movie has envied the flying gunships that descended upon the scene toward the climax scene. Very large and loaded with weapons and a few gadgets, I bought this ship the day after I heard of its availability.

For fun, this thing takes the cake. And it takes it with four firing missile weapons, two 'chin guns' and its primary armanent, two huge rocket launchers on the top near the wing joings. These don't have much range, but can get distance if you arch them. As for the rotating chin launchers they have quite the range in contrast, especially considering how small the connecting section of the projectile is. (I believe that these were lasers in the movie, but it never hurts to kill two birds with one stone.) There is also a positionable turret on the back, two bubble-like double turrets on the wingtips that click when rotated, and twelve bomb-like missiles that attack onto the undersides of the wings and the inside of the walls.

This toy is also incredible for its other features, too. There are two grappling hooks on the back either to tow vehicles or for figures to latch onto. (Some have said that they don't store well, but this isn't true: wind the string around the hook, then press it into the indentation on the outside of the hook.) There are also storage compartments under the wings, useful for transporting weapons and lightsabers as well as figures. The cockpit snugly fits two figures to pilot. Inside the open cabin the floor has surprisingly strong pegs that fit holes in the figures' feet - I can turn the entire ship UPSIDE-DOWN and not have a single one fall. The floorpiece can also be detached via a tab on the underside for quick figure deployment - or an unfortunate accident great for those elaborate games. One of the best features is the doors: by pressing a button on top the two side walls open like doors, slowly (but not too slowly) and smoothly. You can't help but imagine a sci-fi hydraulic sound. There is also a convenient and well-placed handle on top.

To complete the figure you can enhance it by add-ons that come with figures. The Clone Trooper Pilot comes with a freestanding firing spherical turret, but with a simple folding of the stand you can attach it onto pegs near the front of the inside (on the divider pillar just behind the cockpit), recreating those turrets on the movie figure. Also a great feature is putting a Clone Trooper speeder bike, and storing it in the back of the craft. Once you have purchased these your Republic Gunship is a complete and perfect war machine.

As for educational value this is more for entertainment value, but it could help instruct about troop carriers in terrestrial wars.

This ship is big, two feet length and wingspan, and I don't think it likely to break anytime soon. This is built to last.

All in all, a great toy, with a few loose components but still a must-have.

5A welcome addition to the SW toy universe
By A Customer
This is a big item. It's heavy too. But it's an item with a lot of neat features.

The ship comes in many parts that are easy to assemble. There are a few stickers that you have to apply, and some are very small. I advise an adult do this, and a pair of tweezers helps!

THE PROS: The gunship holds two pilots (not included). I put one of my red clone troopers in the front seat - it's a tight squeeze, but he got in (I'm hoping the soon-to-be released pilots fit easier!). The canopy snaps firmly shut and will not come undone during play. The cargo hold can carry several figures that stay in place with the aid of pegs on the ship's floor. I currently have Yoda and four troopers occupying the cargo area. There are pegs for more, but it would resemble a Tokyo subway during rush hour if I filled them all! There is a button on top that, when pressed, open the two side doors revealing a cargo hold for a clone bike-speeder (not included!). The doors open slowly - a very cool feature! There are several guns on the ship, four with launching projectiles. The two front guns rotate and can be fired in any position. There are two rotating turrets on the wings, but they don't fire anything. They look cool, tho.

CONS: The cargo area floor can be released by pulling a lever, so that the ship can quickly land and disperse the troopers on the ground. It's a neat idea, but flawed in practice. The figures have to be contained within the floor area or they will get hung up on the ship as it tries to take off. There are two grappling hooks connected by strings at the ship's tail. The problem with them is that they don't retract or store easily. The answer to that may lie in the two storage bins located under each wing. They open from underneath, however, so any contents will spill out when they are opened. Still, it's nice to have extra cargo space. There is a gun in the tail, but it's simply a plastic stick stuck in a hole. It falls out frequently. Finally, the ship has a handle located between the wings. The handle is too small for an adult hand. (Should adults be playing with this toy? Why not?!). The ship may be too heavy for a child to hold with one arm.

Overall, it's a great toy that has extensive playability. It should keep a child occupied for hours.

5Republic gunship
By cloneoc
This ship is one of the best ships ever. The opening cockpit which seats two clone pliots is really detailed once you put the stickers on. The republic gunship also has four missiles; the two in front shoot really far; the two on the top of the ship only shoot up to about two feet in front of the ship because of their length, but otherwise it's okay. On each of the wings, there is one rotating ball that makes laser sounds when you turn it; and, under the wings, there is a storage copartment that can hold equipment for the ship. In the body of the ship, there is a platform in which you can put up to six action figures, and-- get this-- you can press a lever and drop off the platform. There is a storage compartment for the deluxe clone trooper with speeder bike. Overall, this ship will please any star wars lover.

5Fun for kids, fun to display
By T. Church
Kids will love this one. It comes in a huge box. It's easy to assemble. It's fun to set up the figures for battle. Oh, yeah, the kids under 12 will enjoy it too; for the same reasons.

The nice thing is, one can work with the perimeters to make the play area larger or smaller. figures can be placed in the playset in 1000's of different ways, allowing for a child to use their creativeness.

For display purposes, one will need a good amount of space. But,that is outweighed by the fact that you won't lose space, because you can display many figures. I have about 25 figures on display in mine, and, plan to fit in several more. There's room for at least 10 more, as it is set up now. With the flexibility of the outer gates, I can possibly double that number.

The only really downside to this is for the pricetag, there wasn't even one figure included. They could have included a couple "exclusives" to make this a more attractive offer. But, nevertheless, this is indeed a fun one to work with. Therefore,I do give it a full 5 star rating.

5battle arena
By cloneoc
First of all, in answer to the man's question how about getting action figures right here online or at KB Toys or Target etc... Back to the point the Battle arena is fantastic, with detail and cool little odds and ends and, best part of all, the back part of it can be used as the droid factory. Add in 2 battle droids, 2 super battle droids, Dooku, Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Mace Windu, 10 jedi or more, the republic gunship (which is fantastic by the way, a must have) and clone troopers, and you can re-create the final 25 minutes of Attack of the Clones.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R25O6DDMSXUT6V I purchased this back when it first came out from Wally world and can say that it was a blast to build though not very hard. It looks cool even after all these years. It has not held up too well but this is because I had it stored away incorrectly for a while and one of the legs gives way when you set it down now sometimes. It's still pretty grand otherwise and everything still moves and works right. The missle launcher still works with a push of a button and the legs move around. I made a video and you will see what I mean. I may have lost some pieces so it may not look exactly like it does on the box. I like this set overall and have always been happy with it. The whole spider mech design caught and still catches my eye. I can picture it stomping around in an alien forest in search of its prey. If you can find it for a fair price then I recommend it.

4Fun for all ages (
By Karen Seline
Ok, I admit I love playing with Legos and Megabloks. It's my firm belief that you're never to old to Lego. Anyway, I bought a couple of these models for myself and enjoyed putting them together. I enjoyed even more, combinig the two sets and making an even better looking mech. For some real fun, combine this with the U-240 Assault, and the Night Force Optic. For fans of big walking robotic warmachines, these are just Great!

5This set is Fun, Durable and really cool!
By A Customer
I am a lego fanatic and love amassing huge armys consisting of multiple vehicles. I recently bought a few of these with the money i had been saving. I thought they would work well in the upcoming battle, I was thinking they wouldn't be that good because they had such a low price. but when I recieved them I built one and it was great! it holds together really well, is easy to build, comes with easy to use instructions and is great for the battles my friends and i have! the camo pen thing is a peice of junk though, I don't know why someone would want to paint their pieces and ruin them. over all this is a really fun set, isn't that educational because it has nothing to do with anything you learn about in school, but it's really durable! Get this set!!!
