5Awesome Tool!
By T. Griffin
Just used this to break up 4-6" thick 30 year old concrete in my basement. Started the job with a rental Bosch Brute, but needed something smaller to get into some tight spaces. I decided to buy rather than rent this time and I'm glad I did. While not as powerful as the Bosch Brute, it is less than half the price and weight. Priced way less than 35-42lb hammers from Makita and Hatachi, it has similar power output. I am very pleased. I could have done the job with my smaller Bosch rotary hammer but might have ended up having to replace the tool afterwards. This DeWalt will fill in nicely between the abilities of the Bosch rotary and a larger rental unit. It may even eliminate the need for a rental, because it seems to be very capable. The video of this tool on the DeWalt website sold me, not to mention giving me some ideas about uses I had not thought of myself. The video is worth checking out. Also, check Tool King for reconditioned options. Save some $$$.

5Great General Use Tool
By E. Bennett
This is a great demo hammer for light duty to breaking up basement slab for plumbing installations. I considered renting a similar hammer but decided to invest in this one as it was lightweight, compact and had a variable speed setting for more delicate demo work. It made short work of my 40+ year old basement slab and I could not be happier with my choice.

4Better than the newborn ones
By breastisbest
These work much better then the newborn size. I think these have three more layers of flannel, so they absorb a lot more. I still use a soaker pad with these, but they are not as necessary. I would suggest buying these instead of the newborns, these fit my 8 pound newborn fine.

5great value!
By Micaela Torregrosa-Mahoney
I bought an eight-pack of these for my firstborn 13 years ago and I'm now using them on my second baby... talk about value! These are great, especially if you work outside the home like I did the first time around (I just had to wash them every night). Anyone can put them on your baby since they go on just like disposables. The fact that I was able to save them and can now reuse them after all these years blows my mind. I've heard great things about other brands but can't afford to try them out. So all I can say is that these are practical, useful, durable, and well-worth the initial expense. I soak them in either white vinegar or baking soda and hot water (vinegar is best for urine and baking soda is best for poop) before laundering for optimal cleanliness. I've never had either baby experience diaper rash while using these. With my first, I used one doubler and my son would last 3-4 hours before needing a change; my second son is a super-soaker so I use two doublers and a vinyl cover and check him after a couple of hours. Keep in mind that even with disposables you'll have more trouble with getting the right fit than with absorbency -- that's what Consumer Reports said in their most recent article and ratings report on disposable diapers. I've experienced blowouts and massive leakage with every brand of disposable diaper we've tried, and my second baby is quite a chunky boy, so I know CR is right. Some websites allow you to purchase a sampler package so you can try different brands of cloth diapers out and see what you like best; if I didn't have these already I probably would've tried that. Also, I would've probably bought the Ultras had they been available 13 years ago. Overall, the money saved by using these with both babies makes the initial cost seem like nothing. Plus, when you use cloth there's a higher likelihood of your child wanting to potty-train earlier (EVERY CHILD IS DIFFERENT AND THEIR MILESTONES WILL VARY).

5Truly as easy to use as disposables
By A Customer
I used these during the daytime for my daughter from the time she was two months old until now, when she's nine months old and seems to be outgrowing them. I'm going to get the toddler size ones now. They contain very well and are quite leakproof. If I leave them on her too long (more than two hours) the dampness seeps through a little bit. But I don't mind changing her often. I don't put any diaper rash cream on her at all and she does fine. Whenever I use disposables for a couple of days during travel, she needs the diaper cream or ends up with a rash. I don't see why I should put stuff on her skin when these 100% cotton diapers keep her skin nice and soft all by themselves, naturally. It feels great to know that we've reduced the number of disposable diapers we use a lot.

Tip for cloth diaper newbies: I line these diapers with Imse Vimse flushable paper liners, and just flush them down the toilet when there's a bm. Otherwise I wash the liners with the diapers and reuse. No need to clean a soiled diaper anymore! I just toss the diaper in the laundry basket.

5A great diaper and a super value
By Lisa Manske
This is our first baby. I'm an at-home mom, so I'm always looking for ways to save money. We used disposables for the first 6 weeks while we adjusted to parenting a newborn. Disposables are convenient but they really get costly! Figure about $10-15 per week for disposables diapers.I started using the Kushies during the daytime and really love them! It took about two diaper changes for me to figure out the best way to put them on our 11 pound daughter. But, now that I know, they NEVER leak. Line up the diaper along baby's back at his/her natural waist. The front of the diaper will be considerably higher than the back, as there is plenty of room to grow. (As baby gets bigger, the front will line up closer and closer to the back.) Fasten the velcro and check the leg holes to make sure they're snug. If they're not, re-adjust the velco. They're very easy to wash. I do not put water in my diaper pail, because that makes it too heavy. I run them through the soak cycle, then a normal warm wash with very little detergent, sometimes adding "super washing soda." Hanging them to dry outside, even on a cloudy day, truly eliminates all stains. You can also put them in the dryer. Putting them in the dryer makes them considerably softer. You can greatly diminish drying time by putting in a dry bath towel with the wet diapers. I recommend drying them on low heat with a dry towel added. If you fold the velcro tabs back (like the directions tell you to) they won't turn into a "diaper snake."If you are considering cloth diapers, I recommend you answer these questions for yourself:1. Do you have easy access to a washer and dryer and, preferably, a place to line dry?2. Do you have the time and energy to wash diapers about every other day? (It doesn't take long.)Remember that it doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing change. I use disposables at night and whenever we leave the house. I figure some is better than none. When my daughter outgrew the infant size, we did switch to Fuzzi Bunz diapers. They are more expensive, but they hold more liquid and stay drier next the skin, as they are made of synthetic fabric. Kushies are nice because only cotton touches your baby's skin. However, you will have to change more frequently as cotton doesn't wick away liquid. There are many cloth diapering website that compare different brands.I highly recommend cloth diapers. They will save you money in the long run, especially if you plan on having more than one child.

5Best washable diapers I've found..and boy did I look!
By Kristen Beck
I've tried all sorts of washable diapers and I was delighted when I found these. I didn't know I could be so happy about a diaper.

They fit wonderfully around the waste and the legs.Leaks do happen but rarely...usually if you skip a change. They let just enough moisture through to let you know that the diaper is wet and it's time to change it but not enough to get clothes wet. They are so soft and comfortable. They're super easy to wash. The middle flap can be adjusted for all over additional absorbency or folded for extra absorbency in just the middle or back. When you use the flushable liners, poop is sooo easy to clean...just peel off the liner and flush it or throw it in the diaper pail with the disposables...a little messy without the liners though. No need for a cover in most cases...sometimes they come in handy at bed time though. They save you money in the long run, even if you only use them one day per week to give your baby's bum a break from disposables. So easy to put on even my husband could do it. :-)

5Makes cloth diapering SO easy!
By alleecatLB
Kushies AIOs have been a fantastic compromise between traditional cloth diapers and disposables. They are as easy to put on as disposables, and much more comfortable for baby because they are soft and the material is breathable. We almost never have leaks with them even at night or when baby is crawling (about the same amount as with disposables). The natural materials seem to prevent diaper rash (my daughter has only had diaper rash once, and got it when visiting Grandma and using disposables). And they are SO cute! People who see my daughter crawling around in her Kushies always say, "Oh, those diapers are ADORABLE! Where did you get those?"Here are some tips to make using the Kushies (or any cloth diapers) easier:1) Before baby starts on solid foods, her runny poops will be much easier to clean up if you use disposable liners. Once baby's eating solids, and her poops get more firm, just plop them into the toilet and flush them.2) Before baby can roll onto her tummy, and she spends most of her time on her back, fold the inside liner towards the back, since her pee will flow to the back. Once she spends more time on her tummy, fold the inside liner towards the front, as her pee will then flow to the front.3) If you work full time (like I do), you will definitely be too tired to wash diapers every day, so buy enough to get you through a few days without doing laundry. Many websites I have read suggest getting 20-25 diapers. I'd actually say 25-30 is safer. Yes, they ARE expensive, but shop around. I ended up paying about $200 for 25 diapers (including shipping and sales tax). If you figure about $10 per week for disposables, you will still end up paying less for cloth in the long run, even with the cost of laundering them.4) Never skip a change. This could lead to leaks or diaper rash. If your baby is a heavy wetter, you will probably want to use a washable liner at least at night.5) Before you wash them, be sure to fold the velcro tabs back. If you don't they will stick together in the wash and not dry properly. We just make a habit of folding them back as soon as we take the diaper off the baby.6) If drying them in a dryer, be sure to throw a dry towel in the dryer with them. Otherwise you may have to dry them more than once.7) When you fasten the velcro, make sure the fit around baby's legs is snug. Don't be afraid of making it tight. The baby will let you know if she is uncomfortable.I hope this was helpful, and good luck with your cloth diapering!

5Great value, Great set
By Homa Woodrum
There are 5 possible minifigs in this set. First you have Draco Malfoy, then Crabbe & Goyle -- all in Slytherin robes with black capes. But if you turn the heads of Crabbe & Goyle you see the faces of Harry and Ron! It's a nice idea if you can ignore that the alternate faces peek out on the backs of their necks. Slytherin House is themed in Hogwarts dungeon colours of grey and black with a dash of green. There are two main aspects in this set -- a potion section which I assume represents the Polyjuice potion so that one can have Harry & Ron transform into the two members of Slytherin and find out what Malfoy knows about the Chamber of Secrets. The other aspect is a the actual room, which (as pictured on the back of the box) can fit on top of the Troll on the Loose bathroom set. There are some great suggestions for alternate builds of the set on the back of the box as well as a picture of how all the sets in the Harry Potter theme can fit together. For the price this set has some nice minifigs, semi-transparent pieces, and 2 black snakes. This is set number 4735 with 90 pieces.

4Serpensorcia
By A Customer
Slytherin (along with The Forbidden Corridor) was my very first Harry Potter LEGO set. It was fun to put together and even more fun to play with.

This set comes with:Draco MalfoyGregory GoyleVincent Crabbe

The cool thing about Crabbe and Goyle is that on the back of their heads is the face of Harry and Ron!

The 'stone' entrance to Slytherin swings open and has a snake shield on it, pressumably the Slytherin shield. This shield can also be found above the entrance. One can use this shield to protect Draco Malfoy in his duels against Harry Potter. Lord knows he needs it, because Harry will kick his behind to Year 1!

One of my favorite accessories is the pair of snakes. You can use these snakes when making Draco cast "Serpensorsia" (sp?) against Harry or whomever.

This set has neat little details like a bit of parchment with a foreign something written on it, several jars of potions, green swamp lamps, a sword (maybe the Sword of Slytherin, if such exists?), etc.

Slytherin is a great gift for a friend or even yourself. It's very easy to put together with detailed instructions. This set makes for great fun!

3Too expensive for what it actually is

I was shocked when this arrived. The box was little bigger than a paperback book. I was buying it for my grandson and this was to be his "big present". When I saw how little it was, I quickly ordered something else.

5Fun but takes a while to build!
By A Customer
I received this set yesterday from Amazon.com and I am still in the process of building it. It is an extremely large set (the box was more than a foot in length) and it comes with seven characters: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Gilderoy Lockhart, Ginny Weasley, Tom Riddle, Fawkes the Phoenix, and the Basilisk, a large, deadly snake. The set's instruction booklet is in several sections to help build all of the seperate sections that are put together to actually form the Chamber of Secrets itself. They are Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, with has a trapdoor and it's fairly easy to build; two Chamber walls; a gate-like structure that looks like a face with an open mouth that the Basilisk can crawl through; and three small towers that can be placed on the top of the set. There are several cool props, such as the Gryffindor sword, the Sorting Hat, flames, little black snakes that can be placed in several different areas, two tiny Lego daggers that can be placed in the roof of the Basilisk's mouth and look like its two fangs, and several others. It's a great set but it takes a while to build, and unless you are a devoted Lego builder, the set could become a huge, hopeless mess. Overall this is one of the best Lego sets I've ever received, and it is certainly worth the money. Buy it and love it!

5Yet Another Place in the Magical World of Harry Potter
By A Customer
The Chamber of Secrets is possibly the most interesting of all the Harry Potter sets. This set is huge with about 700 or so pieces. When my sister and I pulled the package out from under the Christmas tree for me to assemble (I build all of our family's Harr Potter LEGO sets, although the instructions are so clear, my six-year old sister could probably put it together, too) I expected the pieces to be all in a jumble, after all, it was a big set! Instead, I found each part of the set neatly packaged and easy to build.

The set didn't take long to make, and we had plenty of fun acting out the scenes, but mostly creating our own. Assembly is easy. It may take a while, but the finished piece is worth it. There is Moaning Myrtle's bathroom, an opening for the basilisk to come through, three towers, and the Chamber itself. This set comes with Ginny, (an important character in this book, and my favorite) Tom Riddle, (a.k.a. Voldemort at 16) Porfessor Lockhart, Ron, Fawkes, and, of course, Harry Potter.

This LEGO set comes with everything need for props (sword, diary, etc.) and will keep you occupied for hours. (at least it did for me)

5A lot of fun, a really well done set
By Homa Woodrum
Looking at a picture of this set isn't enough to grasp all the cool features. But I'm getting ahead of myself. You get three minifigs here: Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and Harry! Minerva McGonagall is a new minifig in Lego form, she has a green outfit, complete with a unique sloped piece to act as a skirt. My only complaint about the dress is that the bottom pops off easily. The unique aspects of this set are great, it fits in perfectly with any other Hogwarts sets and the area around the staircase can close and stay closed. Before you can finish saying, "Lemondrops" you're ready to see Dumbledore! There are some great semi-transparent pieces that act as stained glass -- bluish purple ones for the set's secret back door and red & geen ones for a window in the actual office. In the very top of the tower there is a mechanism so that you can turn the swirling galaxy from behind. To sum it all up, there are a lot of moving and hinged areas that make this set a lot of fun to build and even more fun to play with. It isn't as simple as it looks, trust me. It took me about an hour to build. One recommendation I'd make is to build it on a table. Set #4729 is 446 pieces, and is worth every penny of the price.

5A very good Harry Potter Lego
By Lonnie E. Holder
Legos typically make enjoyable toy kits. However, some are better than average, and this one is such. The greatest fun comes from the moving elements and imagination that went into the design of the toy. A word of caution too. This kit is for a more experienced builder of Legos, so some children at the lower end of the recommended age range may need mom or dad's help.

One of the more fascinating features is a spiral staircase that swivels and collapses so that the toy can be closed. I also like the locking arrangement with scorpion handle that locks the outer walls into place. Another novel feature is a rotating mechanism that can be moved from outside the toy to rotate a disk with images of stars and galaxies on it.

There is also a swiveling wall that has a key on the back side, a book that can hold a plastic envelope, and a mail box that has a slot for the same type of envelope. I'm probably neglecting a moving feature, there were so many in this set.

You also get three figures. An outstanding representation of Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall, and (another) Harry Potter. My one objection is that every Harry Potter set seems to include another Harry Potter. I understand that someone might purchase only one Lego Harry Potter set, and thus would need one of these Harry Potters, but we are on our way to having a football team's worth of Harry's, for both offense and defense. Ah well. I guess with that many Harry's no matter how many get vacuumed up you'll always have one.

I enjoy toys that have many features. This particular set is a bit on the pricier side, but for that price you get a lot of value. This set makes a good center piece for many of the smaller Harry Potter sets available. This set is also somewhat challenging to build, and will take an hour or more of your time. You should have a large flat area to build it on, such as a table.

I consider this set essential for a collector of Legos or Harry Potter. Definitely one of the better Harry Potter sets, and one of the best Legos sets we have ever purchased. I give this Lego kit 5 stars for fun because of all the motion involved. 5 stars for educational value because of the difficulty of assembly. And 5 stars for durability given that Legos are generally durable within the limits of their design. A very good value!

5Escape From Privet Drive Rocks!
By Juliet
I just got this lego set. I saw it on Lego.com along with all of the other Chamber of Secrets Lego sets. This one is a good one. It provides the Harry Potter fanatic and Lego fanatic with our first look at Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia's house Lego style. The set come with the house, the flying car, Ron, Harry, and Uncle Vernon. Plus, we get to see Harry and Ron in their Muggle clothes again. I'm disapointed though, because the set doesn't come with Fred and George Weasley, who were responsible for saving Harry from the Dursleys. But if you've got a few more Lego sets you can always take two other Rons and pretend that they are George and Fred. This set is definitely worth your money. If you are debating on whether to get this set or Hagrid's Hut for the same price, get this one. If you have a Dobby mini-fig, you can also act out the part where Harry meets Dobby among other scenes. Definitely get this one!

5The Magic of Privet Drive
By Sira Raven
This is definitely a wonderful addition to any Harry Potter fanatic's LEGO collection. Just as all LEGO sets, there is a great attention paid to detail, with the letters, the flying car and, of course, the characters. Uncle Vernon looks very similar to his movie counterpart and it is nice to have Harry and Ron in different outfits for a change. His bed under the stairs opens up to reveal a storage compartment, and the upstairs window comes off (with the help of the flying car) to help Harry escape. Both car doors open with room for 2 LEGO characters to fit in comfortably. This set is definitely worth every penny.

5Numero Uno with my 3 year old
By joellen e shendy
My son must of asked for this toy about 100+ times. I declined as he was only 3 and I worried it would be way too advanced and difficult for him.

I finally broke down (don't we all?) and got it. I fully expected his older sister to take it over almost immediately but NOT SO! This toy has provided hours (in the hundreds!) of fun for my 3 year old. The car is great. He carries it everywhere. It is VERY sturdy (even for Lego) and he has not lost any of the pieces. He loves putting Ron and Harry in and taking them out. His all time favorite thing is using the car to "pull" Harry's window out. In an average day he probably does it 20-50 times and so far has not gotten bored at all. My son has special needs and this toy has contributed greatly to helping his fine motor control.

We do (my daughter and I) have to put it together for him but once its together he's ready to go. He's even starting to be able to fix things himself on it which is a great feat for him! It doesn't fall apart or come apart when moved and it is very durable. Hey, if it can take months with a 3 year old its *almost* indestructible!

I give this 5 stars. I'd give it more if I could. My best toy purchase for 2003 hands down.
