1this is NOT a package of 6 bars!!!!
By M. E. Gould
I ordered this soap per my physician's recommendation and I love the product, but this is FALSE advertisement. The order was delivered with 1 bar of soap, not a package of 6 as described. I am extremely disappointed because I thought I had found a really great deal and have not been able to locate this soap in local stores. I will not use this vendor again.

5Excellent soap for the allergic
By Desmond Beazley
My daughter has had atopic dermatitis almost since she was born. She also has numerous allergies which include lanolin and quaternium and other additives normally found in many soaps. This soap is the only soap to which she does not react and it actually soothes her skin. I highly recommend it to anyone with problems of sensitive skin or anyone with recurrent dermatitis or eczema.

5Great Product!
By TGE
If you are allergic to fragrance and/or have dry skin, this is the cleansing (soap) bar for you. I have recommended it to so many people, and they always respond well. It is wonderful for children (I've given it to my son and grandchildren.) and is kind to their skin.

4VG for what it is. But they don't make em like they used to.
By Traveler
It's kind of inappropriate that so many people complain that recorders _intended_ for speech (e.g. lectures, interviews, notes, etc.) are bad for recording music. Kind of goes without saying. If you want to record music, if you want stereo sound, if require audio quality, then don't buy _any_ cassette recorder in this price range. (The bare minimum for these needs is possibly the Panasonic RQ-A220.)There's also lots of confusion about the term "mini." The term mini is about the player size, not the tape's. This recorder, like all "mini" recorders, takes normal sized tapes. If you want the really small tapes then you want what they call "micro."I purchased the RQ-31 to replace an older GE model I was using for notes and interviews. One thing stood out immediately - the microphone was far more powerful. If you speak directly into the machine it will cause some distortion. This is good, actually, because it allows you to record people speaking without pushing the machine in their face. Combined with the voice activation feature this will allow you to easily record your thoughts and conversations without wasting tape. I thought this would be especially handy to record while driving - just leave it in the passenger's seat and it will record only when you speak. The most basic model on the market at this time is the Sony TCM-150 which is at least ten bucks less. Here's some of what you get by paying more: Voice activation, external microphone jack, extended record, and a tape counter. For most people these features are necessary which makes 150 model a poor choice. The Sony's TCM-200DV, however, offers all of that for about five bucks less than this Panasonic - except it doesn't have the counter which I thought I needed. The next model up, the Panasonic RQ-L51, is identical to the L31 except it comes with an AC adapter and rechargeable batteries. I'm not so sure that the extra cost is worth it, but some might find the adapter necessary. The recorder feels cheap for some reason. It's too light and there's too much plastic. (The Sony's TCM-200DV has the same weight.) Perhaps the manufacturers are putting all their effort into MP3 and digital recorders. In any case, use it for what it is. If you need an inexpensive recorder for interviews or lectures the Sony 220 or this Panasonic will likely do the job. If you require something a little more tough with better audio you'll definitely need to spend more - or pick up an older machine from the days when they made these things to last.

4Great Buy!
By A Customer
I bought this recorder for school and due to its 3X recording, you can use a 90 minute tape for 270 minutes. For me, this means that I can use one tape each week for the classes I like to record. I recommend not using the Voice Activated Recording. It tends to make playback sound strange in the place where the tape stops itself and then restarts. If you use the 1X recording, you can listen to the tapes in your car or in any standard cassette recorder. Also, the tapes are cheaper than mini or micro cassette tapes.

3cassette reviewer
By J. H.
I bought the RQ-L31 from Circuit City(in their store)for a total of about $38.00; with no AC adapter or batteries. This recorder has a sensative microphone(built-in)that will pick up birds singing from a neighbors yard! The mic has two positions(up or normal); and it's difficult to tell the difference between the two settings on recordings. The voice activation record has two settings, one is for quiet, distant sounds, the other is for close-up sounds. I have used the RQ-L31 for voice and music recording. It's better at voice recording! It will record music, but a speaker that it not even "2"; just can't reproduce music that well. Also, volume output seems to be lower than most hand-held recorders; although it is totally clear, even turned all the way up. The design puts the speaker in the cassette door. Where you insert the tape(the door)is where the speaker is. I would have to say, that the recorder is not worth the $34.95 that it sells for. It does allow you to use an external mic, and it is shuts off at tape end very quietly. I have a GE mini cassette recorder that has much louder sound than the RQ-L31 by Panasonic. The GE only cost $19.99 at Walmart. It has voice activated recording too; but instead of normal or 3X normal recording length, the GE 3-5364A model has louder volume on playback, and variable speed playback control. If turned up past 75% volume, it gets distorted. The GE also tends to pick up the tape motor sound more. So, the Panasonic RQ-L31 is better at less tape noise recordings. RQ-L31 uses standard size cassette tapes, and has an LED battery level indicator(3 red lights). It is light weight and feature packed, but buy it with the understanding that it is primarily designed for voice/lecture recordings. Circuit City carries the RQ-L31 in their stores. Tape door is awkard to load tapes in, but you can get hang of it.

5This game blew me away!
By Mr. Hip
Remember going to the arcade as a kid, changing your allowance into quarters, and dropping it all into that one game? Remember obsessing over that game when you didn't have the money to play? Remember putting every ounce of your being into perfecting that game, just so you can have your initials at the top of the high score list? Now you can have that feeling again, but this time you can experience it without the acne scarred face - just load Robotron 2049 into your Palm device!

Robotron drips with nostalgia and reeks of bygone memories. Nonetheless, behind that haze of nostalgia is solid gameplay and an amazing audio-visual experience. The graphics and sound of Robotron easily stands up to any Gameboy game. The bright neon image of hordes of killer robots will be burned into your retinas after hours of playing. The ultra realistic humans will have you scrambling to their rescue. The haunting sound effects will make you jump out of your chair. The sound of saving a relieved human will bring tear to your eye. Best of all, the constant sound of your laser gun will provide an aural experience you won't soon forget!

Robotron isn't all flash and crash, though - The gameplay is timeless fun. Destroying an endless stream of dastardly robots while saving the last human family over and over will provide hours upon hours of gameplay. Wave after wave of shooting and running will keep you glued to your Palm device. You'll never get tired of the frantic button pressing. You'd better clear your Palm's calendar, because you won't want appointment alerts interrupting Robotron's adrenaline filled gameplay! In fact, you might want to think about quitting your job! I just hope that's not the company's Palm you're using! Ha ha ha!

So clear your Palm, clear your desk, and clear your schedule, because you're going to love Robotron! Killing robots hasn't been this fun since Dr. Who fought the Daleks. Relive your childhood and let your life slip away - the Robots are coming!

4Great tiny mouse... if your hand's small enough
By NutMac
I've been using this mouse for over a year now, hooked up to Apple PowerBook G4, which incidentally, complements each other's metallic surface well.

Pros:- Very portable, ruggedly built.- Stylish design with brushed metallic surface (highly resistant to finger prints).- Ideal cord length (includes an extension cord as well).- Comes with the carrying pouch.- Smooth mousing experience -- smooth pointer movement, good tactile feedback on the buttons and scroll wheel.

Cons:- Too small for all but small hands under extended usage.- Only the surface is metallic. The rest is unimpressive boring black boxy plastic.- Scroll wheel and the plastic layer underneath the metal surface attract dust.- Non-retractable cord.- Only 2 buttons and scroll wheel.

If you are looking for a mouse that will sit on your desk most of the time, this is NOT the mouse for you. Although it is one of the best portable mice out there, its small dimension (about the size of a PC Card) will challenge all but small hands after extended use. Get a desktop mouse if that's your intention.

That said, all portable mice are small and Logitech's MouseMan Traveler is among the very best. Its optical sensor, while not one of those super fast sensitive kinds, will track the pointer movement with grace and accuracy, never skipping the beat. Its two buttons, which are cleverly integrated as the surface body, offer very good tactile feedback, as does its scroll wheel, which offers good friction (not too smooth, not too hard).

My only real complaints is how easily the mouse collects dust. Because this is an optical mouse, the dust will not interfere with the operation. However, the area between metal surface (which doubles as two buttons) has some gap that attracts dust. You can use the paper napkin to clean, but be prepared to clean often. The scroll wheel collects dust even more easily, although this is all too common among scroll wheel-based mice.

I recommend this mouse highly for travelers.

5Compact and cool looking traveler's mouse
By Gadgester
Ok, you are a cool-looking road warrior with your latest high-tech laptop running Windows XP. You hate the touchpad, though, so what do you do? The MouseMan Traveler is the answer. It's a small, lightweight mouse with a cool design. Unlike other mice with two obvious buttons, this one uses one piece of thin metal to cover the actual button touch points. Very easy to use. It's also comfortable to hold even for someone like me with big hands, but the "buttons" are slanted in such a way as to make clicking take some getting used to. It should have a "fuller" feel in the hand. But, unlike many notebook mice, it's both lefty and righty friendly.

It works beautifully right after you plug it into a Windows XP computer. For those on legacy systems, driver software on a mini-CD-ROM is included, as is a USB-to-PS/2 adapter. Also included is an extension cord, so you can use the mouse either in the short form, or in the long form. Very considerate of Logitech.

The mouse is about 2/3 the size of regular mice and feels solid and well built. It's a winner. I was attracted to it by Circuit City's rebate this week, which essentially gives me 50% off the regular price. But even at the regular price, this would have been a great value and a great companion to the many road trips.

5You really dont want to be without this gem
By Marc E. Novak
I just purchased a Dell laptop, The touchpad was so sensitive it drove me nuts. So I looked at this model because it seemed to have all the right specs. It took all of 5 minutes to install the software and have the mouse up & running. It is small enough to work on the right or left side of your laptop. It is optical W/USB & a PS2 adapter. It has a 3' extension. The mouse is small but very ergonomic with a 2 button scroll. Works with all Windows including XP OS & Macs.

5Amazing
By Casey Snead
Great quality camera and it's price has been dropped incredibly! Go for the buy while it is cheap now or you may never get the chance.

If you are looking for a PERFECT family camera though, I would suggest getting a 2 or 3 MegaPixel camera to take more, and better shots.

5Caution: Using this gadget can be addicting!
By A Customer
(3/04) Now, I am not some weirdo who lives for pain or anything, but I admit, I find myself looking for places other than my legs to use this thing. Legs, armpits, bikini line, big toes... It's just so satisfying to use, knowing that the two hours you may have to put into the process (as one reviewer claimed) is worth it for not having to worry about nicks and cuts at ALL or stubble for at least another two weeks.A few things from my own experience for those of you considering:I bought this intending to use it on my legs and bikini line only. I was thrilled that it is AC powered, because I feared batteries would become a real budget-killer.YES, I did use the attachment thing with the rolling beads the first time I used it. I also used the slowest speed. Decided it wasn't so bad, so I sped it up, then removed the attachment. No problem. I may have even thrown the attachment away...YES, you should exfoliate your skin before use. The directions tell you it wouldn't hurt to take a hot shower and exfoliate, then when dry, use the gizmo. Your pores are open, your skin fresh, and the little hairs should be more willing to let go.YES, it DOES hurt to use on your underarm. Doing so took a bit of acrobatics, because I found I had to try to pull my skin taught while using it. I also found I got a few ingrown hairs there from use. Decided that using a razor on this area isn't that bad after all.NO, it is NOT impossible to use on your bikini area. Just be prepared to sit in some funny, yoga-like positions to get to the areas you want. Also, make sure you keep up on exfoliating here: I find I have the worst problems with ingrowns in this area.YES, you can get stubble. If this becomes a problem, wait a few days for the stubble to grow long enough to grab. Before you use it again, shower, exfoliate, dry and try again. I'll bet you'll end up with less stubble that way.YES, it CAN take a while. I even found that if I don't soak and scrub before using, I'll miss a few hairs and have to go over an area again days later. No big deal if you have the time to spare. As for the pain level: If you have a tattoo, then why are you even bothering worrying about pain? You should be able to handle this baby toy. If you, like the average person, can handle things like paper cuts, needles, and insect stings, you can probably handle the pain level of this thing. Or, if you've had professional waxings done before, you probably won't have a problem. If you can't stand pulling an adhesive bandage off of an area with hair on it, then perhaps this isn't the choice for you. Note: I've never had a professional waxing done, just those messy at-home kits. To me, the kits hurt more than this thing! Probably my fault, though -- can't ever get the mix at the right temp or work quickly enough before the stuff cools again!Soooo... if you're fed up with the blade and want an alternative to wax, smelly hair dissolvers, or sanding disks, try this. I felt it was definitely worth the money! (Bought & have used since September, 2003)(UPDATE 10/04) STILL use and love this thing! I'm even considering buying another to have on hand for when the inevitable happens and the first one dies on me. Couldn't even guess how much I've saved on replacement blades & shave gels... this thing has definitely paid for itself many times over.(UPDATE 11/07) Mine (the original one) is still running great, and I still love it. Bought one for my sister, but she doesn't like it because she's apparently more of a wimp than I thought, even though she's got 2 tattoos! I may just steal hers back to keep in reserve for when mine DOES decide to die on me.(UPDATE 6/10) Original Silk-epil still running perfectly. It sure did come in handy while pregnant last year! Still love this thing!(UPDATE 5/12) STILL use my original Silk-epil. STILL runs perfectly! To add to the record, I now have three tattoos (ring finger, shoulder and foot - OUCHIE!!!) and I can honestly say using this device does NOT, in ANY way, hurt even a FIFTH as much as getting a tattoo does!(I realize that this review is for a very old version, but I believe they couldn't have changed and evolved this technology very much to make this review invalid.)

5An Improvement to the Epilady!
By M. Rivera
This is the best product I have tried for hair removal in a long time. I had purchased an Epilady and used it till its recent demise and never thought anything could replace it. Although it was VERY painful to use, the hair grew back very fine and scarce, the longer you used it, improving the hair texture over time. I then used shavers, cremes, lotions, epil-stop and all were worthless products.

Now that I have the Braun, I am ecstatic with the results, it is much quicker and virtually painless compared to the original Epilady. I highly recommend to women who do not want to become a slave to daily razor shaving!

5Love this...used this for years
By M. R.
It was difficult to get used to at first. But after a while your skin gets used to it and it doesn't hurt at all. Do not let the hair get too long!!!

This is a tip for first timers: grow the hair out, get it waxed at a salon and only start using this when the hair starts growing back. Or shave and only use this as the stubble grows in. Do not let the hair get too long - that's when it is uncomfortable. This get's teeny tiny hairs and lasts for as long as waxing -- my legs are so smooth and pretty now.

Caution -- you can't go back to shaving or you'll get ingrown hairs. Exfoliate regularly, too.
