Very nice lens at a great price

I bought the Tamron to go with my Sony a200 dslr. The lens is really nice quality, and it works perfectly with the camera. Autofocus is quick and accurate. It is certainly not a pro quality lens, but for the price it is wonderful. I recommend this for anyone who wants a telephoto zoom to add to their dlsr. I tried out the Sony 70-300mm lens in a local store, but I was not impressed. In particular the usability of manual focus on the Sony lens was quite poor. This one is fantastic in that regard. You may not use manual focus that often, but it's nice to have a lens that can handle the job when you need it.

Great lens

I recently took this lens to Hawaii with me. I got some great shots of Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay. The shots of Diamond Head are so close it looks like I visted it.I also put a UV filter on it and the colors are VIBRANT! I've received many compliments.If you're looking for a larger lens, this is the one to buy.

A long lens

First off this is in no way a compact lens, its big and its heavy, but it does produce very sharp and detailed images under the right conditions.I am using this with my Sony A200 and it performs well on a tripod, but for handheld success it better be a very bright sunny day or a very high ISO setting because this lens is very difficult to control at extreme telephoto lengths. My Sony begins flashing the warning sign in the viewfinder at 200mm, but to the cameras credit the steady shot performs well. That being said I would suggest that this lens be used with a tripod.Bottom line, for the cost this is a very nice lens. It is louder than the Sony or Minolta's, and it does hunt a bit at extreme telephoto (partially I beleive due to camera shake induced by it's weight) but all things considered the build quality seems, to me at least, to exceed the Sony kit lens.

Yamaha CRW3200UXZ

This is a great drive with a huge buffer 8 MB, which means you will never suffer from buffer underburn with unusable CD. It is so reliable. I have purchased this one only to replace my old reliable 4x Yamaha External SCSI writer that I have had for over 3 years. It was still working but too slow. This drive works perfect for me.

Only caveat, you need to make sure your USB port is USB2.0. Otherwise, you will only get 4x write speed with older USB1.x.

Great Selection for those new to CD-RW

The tool kit of software provided with the drive as well as the simple but fairly complete getting started guide make this a great choice for people just getting into creating their own audio CDs. It worked right out of the box for me with a Windows XP Home edition system and USB 1.1 ports. I am looking at getting a USB 2.0 PCS card and a hub to provide for all the devices that seem to be springing up on my computer.

Installation was easy. The software went in without a problem. From opening the box to having the first disc complete was less then three hours (and that included a lunch break)!

Not to play with, but a very dope collectors piece!

This is a very sweet display piece. The detail and depth that Todd M. goes into is incredible. I wish i wouldnt have taken it out of its box, but i couldn't help putting it on display on my desk. It freaks my girlfrind out, and my mom wonders about me. Not to worry, this is just a very sweet toy! It would look great on display with some background setup in a case.

Spawn 7 a must for every collector

I cant help myself but pull this one out of the package the moment i bought it. although the articulation is minimal, it is not a toy realy, but a very handsome piece of art. The details are very stunning from the figure to the throne itself. Its worth your money, and i can say it is a very nice addition to any spawn collection, you will cry if you will not be able get yourself one. I plan to buy a second one so i can have an unopened one, that's how i reaaly love this toy! GET YOURSELF ONE NOW!

The plain adventure

Detailed... yes! Great! I was waiting for this so-called incredible spawn VII ... waited for at least 5 months cause i've seen this babe in a super neat deluxe box which is shaped like the normal aquarium box toys in the market. But unlike them, this is a cardbox quality compared to the hard plastic aquarium boxed toys like Arsenal of Doom and etc. 6 months had passed... and without hesitation, i got a box for myself ... took it back home and admired it. Great stuff! Deluxe box with a small window-like circular plastic on the top which allows a person to place a florescent tube light to it so that the light reflects the figure from the top to reveal the spawn completely from inside. Pretty neat idea, i guessed. The figure, as expected... super detailed and great feel of darkness. Surely one hell of a 'king' spawn indeed. It shows how Malebolgia have given up his throne to the great man himself,,, the decapitated head of Malebolgia in series 20 shows how the creator himself had been beaten anyway. This is somehow one of the must have spawns for collectors , cause it is to complete the collection of Spawn 1 from series 1, spawn 2 from series 3, spawn 3 from series 7, spawn 4 from series 12, spawn 5 from series 17 , spawn 6 from series 20 and now spawn 7 from series 21.

  Hard to Find

  Healthy Defense is an excellent Neutrogena product, recommended by my dermatologist. However, the medium tint has become increasingly difficult to find in retail stores. The light tint and no tint are readily available. I like the tinted variety, but the light tint is definitely too light. I was finally able to find the medium tint online through amazon.com. Thank goodness for online shopping sites!

  Excellent for skin

  This is not meant to be a foundation... but it you use it on your face and then put foundation only where blemishes are or even out skin tones, it is wonderful. I am 66 and have great face skin because of this. Some days I only wear this and no foundation. Light for winter and medium as the season changes. I love the stuff and have turned on my friends to the same product

This product works!!

I used this product last year before my wedding in the Cayman Islands. I started rubbing/massaging in this lotion 6-7 weeks before my trip and actually started noticing the difference around week 4. I was less conscience about the back of my legs and was able to relax more on the beach. I bought it again this year in May to prepare for wearing shorts in the Summer. I asked my husband, a skeptic who is not afraid to tell me the truth, to help me monitor if this product was truly working, and he agreed that there was definitely a noticeable difference! You've got to rub it in twice a day, but it only takes about 15-30 seconds to dry! This product lasts a while, you can get through the summer with only 2 bottles! It is worth the price!Update...It's now 2013 and 2 kids later and I'm back on Amazon to order more cellulite cream for a wedding I'm attending in Vegas over Spring Break, less than 2 months away! As I've aged, had kids, and gotten more cellulite, I realized it will probably take me more than 2 bottles of this stuff to get me through " A Summer." FYI .... I'm 37 and now have cellulite on the front and sides of my legs as opposed to just the back of them which was the case when I wrote the first review, in my late twenties. An anti-cellulite cream with results I like

I have had cellulite on my back thighs since I was 16 and thought nothing would ever help. Other products I tried were sticky or left a weird layer of film which just washed off. This Neutrogena product has helped the texture and especially important to me, the feel of the back of my legs. I also like the product's gel/cream consistency amd how it absorbs into the skin. I have only used this product for a few weeks and if it continues to smooth out my lumps and bumps I will be extremely satisfied.

Very good, so far

Unlike others, I'm getting good alignment and no free movement at 10' out to 12'. This is a very large and wide level and I'm trusting that it will prove as bullet-proof, durable and true as the other six Stabila's I have. If I start getting any drift, I'll update this page, so take the absence of an amendment by me as evidence that this plate level is staying true from this date (07-05-2006) in regular use in framing construction.

Another winner from Stabila!

Wow, another cool new level from Stabila. These guys must have carpenters on staff because they always seem to come up with the greatest products for the professional carpenter. I have this level and it is fantastic. It is tight, even while extending it is not at all sloppy like the other extendable levels on the market. Like other Stabila levels it is extremely accurate. It is a little bit heavy, but the hand holes make it easy to handle. The plumb vial is always at eye level and there is a inch scale on both sides of the extended shaft. They did it again!

This really is a great tool. To level or plumb walls, this is a must have item. Easy, quick and accurate, what a time saver. This is another well made product from Stabila, other than the cheap plastic end-caps that are prone to crack, a very solid item. Make sure to get the padded case, not only does it keep your new level safe, it will also hold your 4' and 2' levels.
