Excellent Desk Light

I purchased this light because I needed a nice desk lamp for college. This light is awesome! It defintately lives up to the designer's claims--it produces 'natural light'. Every light in my room gives off a horrible yellow light in comparison. The main selling point of this light is that it virtually produces no heat. There is a minor heat produced from the bulb, but the lamp never gets more than warm to the touch, even after being on for hours. While the light is on the pricey side, I felt it was well worth the investment. Best lamp I've ever owned. I will surely buy OTT products in the future!

This is truly the best lamp for light quality. I have used many kinds of desk lighting over the years and none comes close to this one.I am, however, having trouble finding the correct replacement bulb online. It is just unclear as to which bulb fits which of their many lamp styles and this model lamp has not been listed at the sites I have checked.

I don't argue that OTT-lites aren't expensive. However, they really do provide natural looking light that is relatively free of glare for working. While all lighting produces some glare, this is very easy on the eyes compared to other types of light. It is also a joy to be in a room lit by this type of light. It is very aesthetically pleasing and you won't know how you lived without more of this lighting around once you try it.
