Quality lens for a low price!

This lens kit includes the fisheye lens, a couple of adaptors to Olympus point and shoot digital cameras (I use a D-460Z), and a tripod mount that positions the lens directly over the forward nodal point to eliminate parallax for panorama stitching. It works very well, especially considering the prices of standard wide angle lenses at ten times this price.

I recommend stitching with MGI PhotoVista (http://www.mgisoft.com) and take your photos with minimal or no compression such as TIFF mode (4 megs) and compress later for Web viewing top quality panoramas. Crop out the black "tunnel" with PhotoShop if you can afford it.

For panoramas it is critcal to get your nodal point directly over the center of the tripod to avoid parallax. Be sure your tripod head has the attachment screw directly centered. Many tripods don't do this and the offset will kill your stitching efforts. For more info see http://www.panoguide.com.

Works great for virtual tours

This lens came with a tripod mount and a couple of adapters, one of which fits my Olympus D-490 zoom. The adapters seem to work well but being plactic 'clip-ons' they're not very robust. The IPIX software doesn't work for the D-490 hi-res images but you can downsize the pix to make them 'fit'. Although more complex, Helmut Dersch's Panarama Tools are better but you will need to crop the images first.

Built to last.

I've been using Tripp Lite ISOTEL's and ISOBARs for over 10 years and I love them. They are super heavy-duty, constructed out of metal, and have saved my equipment on more than one occasion. They are very highly recommended to any audio/video enthusiast or professional, as well anyone who just wants to save their computers or home theater setups. Once you use these, you will want to scrap all of your other surge protectors.

Quality Product

I really like these old-style metal IsotelUltra Tripp Lite surge protectors. They are very heavy and built like Sherman tanks. They cost more than the newer lightweight plastic models Tripp Lite puts out, but are well worth it in my opinion.We have two of these heavy metal Tripp Lite surge protectors and one of the newer lightweight Tripp Lite plastic models, all with similar Joule ratings, on three different computers. We have above ground power lines coming into the neighborhood and it doesn't take much in the way of a storm to cause surges in the lines. The other day a sudden thundersorm came up out of nowhere and a bolt of lightning stuck, perhaps a half-mile away or so. I heard the surge protectors click. The two machines with the old-style metal IsotelUltras never flinched. The one plugged into the plastic model spontaneously rebooted itself.'Nuff said.

Best joystick ever

It's the gimbals. There's a smooth springlike action that doesn't snap. All the buttons work tightly and smoothly. The plastic is high quality and it just works better than the other more flimsy sticks on the market. The adjustable axes allow for great tuning. My only complaint is that it doesnt have a rudder wheel. Great product.

fighter control stick with 5 button F-16 style fit

If you've flow fighter planes, you want a control stick that resembles what you used to operate your fighter. This is very close in feel... the enjoyment depends upon the software you use with it. The stick itself responds well .... you just miss the g forces.

What can I say that will do this justice?

An electrical engineer friend of my Dad's suggested the Tripp Lite Isobar and I found them on Amazon. I was very impressed with the heavy duty material used. It is heavy. I've never seen anything quite like it. And what I have noticed is that it seems to cause my laptop and PC to run better just as stated on the box. I don't experience the computer screen locking up to where I have to shut it down and restart it to get it to work again. I never dreamed a surge protector could minimize this disruption on a computer. It is a bit pricey, but I have an 8 outlet and a 4 outlet. I got the 4 outlet first and then bought the 8 outlet for my desk. No regrets. Dad's friend said...If you have anything you really care about and want to protect you ought to put them on this power strip. His friend's house has been hit by lightening twice over the years and both times all that was plugged into a Tripp Lite was SAFE from damage. Now you can't beat that. :-)

Just a note on an excellent product:

The TCON300, Oly's 3x connection lens for the Camedia E-10, already comes with a support arm. This support arm, however, is a special consideration for when the Li-Po Battery Grip and the TCON300 that's available for the E-10 are used in conjunction. The battery grip attaches to the bottom of the camera, rendering the standard support arm worthless.

This is an excellent addition to the E-10 System, provided you're using the Li-Po Grip as well.

Always dependable and completely necessary for home and office. This is the only brand we have used for years for our computers and DVD duplicating towers. Keeps things running until you turn them off safely. I have researched the internet for other brands but never found anything comparable.

I have had this exact model on my PC for several years (before changing the battery) and it has provided good performance over that time. I needed one for my wife's PC and checked out many other brands before deciding to stick with the one with a good track record. So, I purchased another Office 500. TIP: replacement battery prices are all over the map; don't buy until you look at various sources.

Well built - very high quality.

It appears to be overbuilt. Nice specs and extremely good noise filtration. Many appliances send a lot of dirty electrical noise into your circuits. For most this is not a problem but for those who have powerline products or home automation systems that use your home wiring this is a real plus. It actually saves money in that you do not have to put expensive noise filters on each appliance. Inside it is well built as I have lookedat it.
