Product Description

An industry leader for over 50 years, the Freud name equals quality, precision and craftsmanship. Freud router bits feature Freud made TiCo Hi-Density Carbide for maximum cutting life. Each bit is individually balanced, giving a cut above the rest. Revolutionary Quadra-Cut design employs four cutting edges vs. two, for a flawless finish that requires no sanding or rework. Two carbide cutters have an up-shear angle to remove most of the stock while the second pair of down-shear cutters makes a final cut to produce an ultra clean edge. These bits are ideal for creating raised panels for doors and paneling as well as decorative tops, plaques and modeling. Patented design allows these bits to produce a full 1 1/2" wide reveal for traditional raised panel doors.

4good bit, but lack of bearing is a disadvantage
By D. Leone
I bought this about 2 years ago and used it to make about a dozen raised panels. It's a good bit and creates very smooth, beautiful profiles. I usually take 3 to 4 passes to remove all the material (that's when using 3/4" mahagony). I've used the bit together with the freud set 97-106 and it works very well. However, the bit's main disadvantage is it lacks a bearing which makes it impossible to use this on an arched panel - at least I'm not aware of a safe way to use a 3.5" bit without bearing without a fence.... so, anyone contemplating to buy this, I'd instead recommend to get the 99-519 bit.

5Raised panel doors

My 1st project with large (16"x60") raised panel doors using 3/4" oak panels. Followed directions, also bought the set-up block which really helped, and doors came out exacly as I had hoped,,flawless.

5just what i ordered
By Mike
product is very easy to set up and works great for the panels I need to make. As said by other reviewers it is best to take multiple passes as this takes a pretty big bite and can be hard to hold on to the work piece.

4freud quality shines through
By thomas h allaire
As a profesional cabinet maker, i bought this for my home shop, works well, just like most freud bits, would recomend large router,3hp or better.the only thing holding this bit back from getting five stars,is the lack of a bearing, which would make this cutter near perfect. For production shops i would recommend a shaper

4Bearingless
By JHSmith
As with all my Freud bits, his bit did not dissappoint. It cuts as it should, holds a edge after cutting Hard Maple/Oak.One complaint and for the life of me cannot figure out why Freud doesnt have a removeable bearing. I would be thrilled to pay the extra few bucks they cost. Obviously if your buying Freud your not penching pennies and can afford an additional $10.00 bearing. I am taking my Panal bit to the Tool/Die shop where I work on Monday (5-14-12) to see if they can turn the shaft and add my purchased bearing. I will post my findings.

5Freud 3-1/2" raised panel bit
By Wayne A. Smith
Freud's raised panel bit provides an extemely smooth surface on both sides. It's also great having the shims to be able to adjust the heigth of the backcut. You can make the front surface and the back surface match exactly the rails and stiles. Now that I've used it, I wouldn't have any raised panel bits without a backcutter. With the backcutters, there is no need to make 2 passes. The cutters are apparently very sharp, because my 2-1/4 hp router handled the bit with almost a full first pass. I am extremely pleased with the router bit.

5Outrageous product for the price
By Fred Wright
I've had my Tasco 12-60X/70mm binoculars for quite a while now. They do take a little getting used to, and if you are going to use them at a high power zoom - you HAVE to get a secure tripod or other mount for it. You also must aquaint yourself with how to adjust the eyepieces to allow you to use the binoculars without your glasses. I have a severe pair of glasses and this pair of binoculars has enough latitude to adjust to MY eyes. The Rubicon lenses are stellar. I believe the capabilities, the quality and size of these binoculars is without parallel under $.... The one question to ask is what are you going to use the binoculars for? A nice little non zoom 7X/50 or other will be a better fit for many uses. But if high power, zoom and large lenses for use even when the light is less than optimal are what you are looking for - you would be hard pressed to do better than these binoculars.

5Great Sights
By A Customer
I have been researching binoculars for long time. The 124RB is a quality binocular. The fully coated lens, the zoom feature and the BAK-4 prisms. I finally found a good price for the Tasco model no. 124RB. It is worth every $262 I paid. If you don't have steady hands make sure you get the tripod.

5DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THE OTHER REVIEW
By A Customer
I think, the w.l.jones had a problem using the binoculars! Probably never used zoom binoculars before and didn't know how to focus them properly! The binoculars are great for the price and (Tasco is not stupid, to come with a terrible finish product) the quality. I have seen other expensive binoculars much less power and very very expensive price tag! Wow! People pay $700 to $1500 for binoculars that are half as powerful! This is a great buy at this price!

5Odd-looking, but the RJV Mask DOES work!
By Ms.Terry Ryder
The Mask stimulates 12 different muscles in the face for about 20 seconds each and automatically goes through the cycle 4 times for a 15 minute session, then shuts off automatically. It is like a little Nautilus-type workout for your face muscles.I have had the Rejuvenique (RJV) system for few weeks, but noticed the smile lines fading and the morning puffiness around the eyes diminshing after only (4) 1/2 hour treatments. The price has come way down and it is now found at a reasonable price at many places. The included VHS tape and booklet are very very basic; just telling you how to connect the cord, adjust the straps, turn it on, and not much more.I was surprised the tape didn't offer more information about the whole line of Rejuvenique products or show a section of the infomercial so that we are reminded why we are subjecting ourselves to this ridiculous-looking device and why it is worth it.As an ex-[champion]athlete, I have used Electro-Stim (E-S) devices many times for muscle and joint rehab after injuries, and for muscle spasms, so I am very familiar with its use.The mask is a great easy solution for a face toning workout. I usually reset it and do 2 sessions in a row; however, I find any more than that gives me a headache. To minimize repetition, I will try to mention some things that other reviewers skim over. Please read the other reviews for the big picture (especially from the ones with several years experience), and notice the people who complained about it used it improperly or didn't give it a chance to do its thing.1. Use it every other day at the most, so you have time to recover (just like any other workout-a muscle is a muscle!). Use it at least 2x/week (every 3 days or so) to maintain maximum results.2. The gel for the E-S electrodes is bascially el-cheapo K-Y jelly, which many of us already have in the nightstand.3. As others here have noted, Keep a finger on the knob! For best results, use the stimulation as high 'As Is Reasonably Comfortable' for each of the 12 areas. I found area '4' between the eyebrows to be extremely sensitive, and sometimes (but not always) the areas around the mouth, when the current passes near the roots of the teeth. When it switches to the sensitive areas, I quickly turn it down to around 3 or 4, and then the less sensitive areas get it cranked back up to '7' or so (10=limit).5. Used properly, the mask is safe. Some people have mentioned getting 'burned' by the mask, but I wonder what they did to cause that? I assume they cranked it up all the way (or close to it), hoping for quicker results, and ignored the pain. Helloooo McFly...6. Too bad Salton does not better support the product on their website. It would be nice to see an excerpt of the original infomercial and more Before & After pictures so one can stay more motivated to use the Product.7. Try the Rejuvenique beauty products, too.The moisturizers are pretty good with an excellent list of [largely natural]ingredients, and no added perfumes. (...)The only downside is that NO Expiration Date is shown on the tubes and containers, so I am not sure how fresh some of these discounted products are, nor how much it matters.8. Medical Issues: Of course, Use caution with ANY E-S device if your body is injured, sick, or stressed in some manner. If you have medical issues, it would be worthwhile to ask your doctor if any great harm might be done by trying electro-stimulation [or TeNZ-type] device. --Bottom Line: If it HURTS, don't do it! [duh.]8. Don't plan on going anywhere for about 20 minutes after a treatment. You will have little red spots from the pressure points for a little while afterwards.9. Don't forget that a facelift costs around $12,000, so this is a really cheap [but effective] alternative! At least it will delay the need for a surgical Lift.I hope this helps y'all!

5This Works!
By Gwendolyn E. Carson
This mask works so well, at one time the FDA wanted to make it necessary to have a prescription for this. I'm 55 years old. Started using it in 2002. I use it at least 5 days a week. If I skip a week or two, the sags start to happen. This keeps my face from sagging. And I sometimes get lazy and skip, but when I do, I go right back to using it, because there is a big difference! As mentioned in the other reviews, do keep you finger on the knob to control the strength of the pulsations, as different areas of the face can take more than others. This does leave little indent marks after using, so don't use it just before going out. I usually use it while reading in bed. It has been my most important Beauty ritual along with Retin-A and Sunblock. If you want something to help with a sagging jaw or face in general. This is it! I always have people look at me in disbelief when I tell them my age. And no it isn't just because of the Retin-A and sunblock. As I said, if I stop using it I start to sag, a lot! But as soon as I start again, within 2 weeks, back to tighter skin. Now, I just don't get lazy anymore.

5NEC LCD Monitor is Really Good!
By Noel Elliott
In early August 2001 I bought an NEC/Mitsubishi LCD 1700M+ from Amazon.com after a considerable amount of product and price comparison shopping. This display was to replace a CRT 17" display that had failed after years of good service. I expected that the new NEC monitor would be an adequate replacement, taking up much less space and drawing less power from my UPS, while not presenting too many of the problems I thought would be inherent in the LCD technology. In fact, NEC's LCD technology appears to be superior to my previous CRT in almost every way. The colors are more vivid, black is totally dark, the overall image is sharper and much, much brighter. There is no viewing-angle problem: the image at 70-80 degrees off axis is still as bright as my CRT used to be on-axis. This is a very good product.Update after six months: I still think this is a great monitor, and would recommend it highly. My only complaint is that there is no jack for headphones to bypass the built-in stereo speakers. My old monitor had a jack, so I could listen to webcasts without bothering other folks.Update after 4 1/2 years: The monitor is still as bright and clear as ever, even after years of service. I keep it powered 24/7, and actually in use over 40 hours per week.Update after almost ten years: It is still working well. This old monitor just keeps chunkin' away. It takes a minute or two to reach full brightness, but then the image is flawless.

5Are you ready for your next "Wow" toy?
By Chris Bushman
Okay, face it there will be a flat panel monitor in your future sooner or later, so you might consider accepting this pleasure sooner rather than later.

My wife and I have both been using higher end 17" CRT monitors for a couple of years. Hers was a Sony, mine is a NEC, both splendid, high rez CRT monitors.

I bought her this LCD monitor for Christmas. It really knocked her socks off. This thing is clean and crisp and incredible.

One hint here, Amazon ships this monitor in the original factory box which has pictures and lots of clearly identifying typography. If it's for a present, have it shipped someplace besides where the gift recipient lives! Luckily, I had to go to UPS to pick it up so my wife's surprize was not ruined.

After reading some of the other reviews, let me offer a couple of hints. Use this device at full rez. You may have to readjust some of your defaults such as Icon Size - make it the biggest available, because at full rez they will still be small. There may be lots of screen defaults you may have to adjust and that may be a real pain. Live with the pain, you'll be glad you did. If you try to treat this device like your good old 14" EGA monitor that you used on your 286, you will be disappointed. Give it the respect it deserves and use it like the superb hardware gem that it is. If it doesn't thrill you, you are doing something wrong! Run a hot video card or suffer the consequences. If you feed this beast right, it will reward you handsomely.

Keep in mind that this 17" LCD and a 17" CRT are apples and oranges. Aside from the obvious differences, the display size is different. The CRT useable area is usually about 16.1" diagonally while the LCD is 17.0" - really, check it out.

In many of the reviews for cheaper competing models I read comments like, "Just as good as the NEC 1700M+! There were a few dead pixels, but they were barely noticable." If you want to compromise, then compromise. If you don't want to compormise, go with this one.

5It was sort of surprising really.
By NixDude
I had a compaq 8000 18" panel already. While I was pretty much happy with the clarity of my old monitor it got a problem that after running two hours it would start to flake out and I got tried of compaq not being able to fix the thing. I decided to buy the nec 1700M+ due to reviews and everyone comparing their models to it, and even though I lost a diagonal inch over my compaq, I felt that the price and reputation it was getting warranted trying it.In a nutshell, I immediantly carried the compaq to the landfill, this monitor rivals my CRTs (proview, nec and sony) and made me realize the compaq had no business on my desktop. This thing has beautiful color across the spectrum, great contrast and plenty of brightness. While I realize the technology is probably newer than the one I had, I never expected it to be this good. In fact I still look at it in amazement every time I sit down in front of it, the speed, the color the contrast...some day I may be able to stop staring at it long enough to actually get some work done.

5How many pictures will it store?
By Brent D. Payne
How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries. The Delkin 128MB CompactFlash, like most 128MB cards, will store on average 142 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 106 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 64 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 51 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 40 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.I truly hope this review was helpful to you in determining whether this card is the right capacity for your specific needs.
