The Tradition continues with Set B

"It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" has been a part of my Halloween for as long as I can remember. I still pop in the DVD when crafting my yearly Jack-o-Lantern, wondering who exactly keeps a store of rocks to toss in Charlie Brown's bag.

Playing Mantis, with this second collection, has again made the Peanuts gang leap from the screen and into my house. Lucy is here, in her standout Witch outfit, complete with pointy hat and green mask. Schroeder with Grand Piano and Haunted Candelabra, and of course Snoopy, the WWI flying ace sneaking across the French countryside. They all come with nice bases for the figures to stand on, and look great together with Set A.

If you are someone who like to decorate for Halloween, then you can't go wrong with this figure set. They look just fine perched amongst other Ghost and Goblins.

"Completes My Collection Of Peanuts Figures"

This is the Peanuts "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown Set" which is currently the second in the series of these Halloween themed figures from 2002-2003 Memory Lane and Playing Mantis in the Peanuts toy series. Here is the figures that are included in this set: Lucy "Lucille" van Pelt, ("Worlds Biggest "Fussbudget"), Schroeder, ("The Musical Genius"), Woodstock, ("Snoopy's Friend"), and the funniest of them all, Snoopy, ("Charlie Brown's Beagle" aka "The Flashbeagle"). Lucy "Lucille" van Pelt includes her witch costume to which she states that a woman should always dress on Halloween to their exact opposite of themselve (Lucy states in the 1966 3rd Peanuts television special that she must dress to the opposite of her personality, which really she's crabby and not very nice to her brother Linus and her little brother Rerun, and Charlie Brown being number one she's mean too.) The thing I liked about these Halloween themed sets is that they each come with a costume but Linus and Sally. But anyways Lucy includes her witch costume which is made up of a white robe (that is able to be taken off and on) and a green witch mask that has an attachable string that goes around Lucy's head,she also includes her red witch hat that can be kind of hard to put on without a rubber band that can hold the hat on the head. So if you have difficulties with it just get a rubber band and simpy use it to adjust the witch hat on Lucy's head. Lucy also includes her pumpkin display base which can be used to create into a pumpkin patch if you collect all of them, (It looks really good if you collect all of them, I set them all up in my antique display table on Halloween). Then we have Schroeder who is dressed in his blue shirt with black lines that make a pattern on the shirt, he also has black pants and brown shoes, he doesn't include a costume like the other characters but a piano with a scary looking candle piece set that sits atop Schroeder's piano. He also includes a pumpkin display base. Then we have Snoopy who has a special costume: "The World War One Flying Ace"! he has his flying ace hat and his red scarf, he is also able to be moved by his waist and his legs can move as well. He also isn't alone fighting the "Red Baron" he has his little bird companion Woodstock with his side who wears a matching red scarf as well. Him and Snoopy share a pumpkin display base. Overall I rate the set a 5.0., the price on this set is pretty overpriced, if it gets very expensive go on Ebay and bid for it or buy it.I hope this helped.

It's a phenomenal unit with some flaws

First off, I have read all the reviews and heard many opinions by what I believe are car audio snobs. My suggestion is to ignore anyone without pratical, first hand experience with a product.To that end I would strongly recommend the MEX-1HD. Why should my opinion matter any more than others...I own one. I have had it since it was released - before actually, thanks to a friend.My car audio system consists of this wonderful head unit, a Precision Power (PPI) 600W amplifier, a/d/s 365is seperates in the front and 345i two ways in the rear for fill. In addition I have a single Crossfire - formerly a JL Audio - 10" sub in a custom enclosure in the trunk. This is merely to put to rest the doubters that believe in the few key brands and to give an idea of how much money I spent all based around the MEX-1HD.Now no head unit is perfect and this one has a few glaring flaws. Let me list its high and low points as Pros and Cons.Pros:Sound - regardless of what many may think, this unit sounds absolutely fabulous listening to CDs or off the hard drive.ATRAC3 - this format allows for an immense amount of storage (I have 1000 tracks and have only used 60% of the hard drive)CD Text - this should be self explanatoryMemory Stick and digital I/O inputs - so you can bring even more music with you INCLUDING mp3 songs.Equalization - I keep everything flat thanks to a great install but there is a ton of room for customization.Cons:ATRAC3 - since this is a proprietary and secure format you can't just rip songs to your MEX-1HD and take them everywhere on another device. You can find more info about this anywhere on the netManually entry of titles - if you have not loaded the Gracenote library (via Memory Stick if it wasn't pre-loaded)- then you will have to enter the titles of albums artists and tracks manually. This can be alleviated by simply loading the Gracenote library before you start ripping CDs to the drive.Steep learning curve - if you are not a computer savy user you may have some trouble getting used to all the features of the stereo (it has a LOT)I hope this helps anyone considering upgrading to this type of stereo. There are other options out there but do not be disuaded by people who tell you Sony is junk simply because it is a mass-market brand.

EXCELLENT UNIT

I own this XPLOD and is the best car audio unit i ever tried. the management of sources is incredible fast and easy of use. With the rotating knobs you can access all the tracks, folders and sound parameters in an instant... you'll love this unit. Unfortunatelly my hard drive failed and after i replace it with the same brand, and model i can't use it because it can't be recognized. Sony from Peru can't help me with the partition... by the way is the best car audio unit.

very good, but not the best

provides fairly accurate bass with some good punch. not as deep and rich as the JL 10 inch I have in the same type enclosure in another car though I am using a sealed encolsure versus a ported one. (sealed are less efficient but more accurate) placement is important and I have mine at the end of my trunk facing the a sidewall. facing it inward provided less bass. i might replace it with a JL but only after some more experimentation. it can handle my 500 watts from a MB Quartz amp with no distortion and will definitely shake the trunk.

Good speakers.

These speakers work very well. I put them in my 1995 Chevy Tahoe. These speakers work good, i've been playing very loud music to test them lately, and they don't distort the sound. These speakers don't carry bass very well, but if you have a subwoofer or subwoofers like I do then they sound absolutely perfect.

I put these in my Delorean and they sound great! I doubt you are purchasing these for a DMC but they fit great with no mods. I purchased these with the A878's and have the best sound i have ever had in a car.

Excellent Value

I bought my Cobra for $99. This is the best radar detector you can buy for under $400 as far as I know, and I've spoken with a few speedsters and mechanics. The next step up from this, in my opinion, is a Valentine (I think their website is valentine1.com). Those are the best radar detectors you'd need (within reason), and they're $300 more than this Cobra. Passports are almost the same price as Valentines, but give you basically the same quality as a Cobra, so I don't recommend a Passport.So exactly how much better is a Valentine than a Cobra? About 50% better, I'd say. My friend has a Valentine and we were curious, so we got one of those double things for the cigarette lighter and placed my Cobra 9210 next to his Valentine and went cruising around. Eventually, we found that the Valentine will give you a heads up about a fraction of a second sooner, which is actually quite decisive in some situations.Non-critical feature differences between the Valentine and the Cobra include sensitivity adjustment, and indication of the direction of the detected signal (front, sides, or back). The Valentine has both those features, but the Cobra does not. The directional arrow feature isn't very helpful in avoiding police radar (since you just react immediately when you hear the indicator), but it is a neat feature to determine what the source of the signal was if you're not sure. The sensitivity feature is fairly useful because if you're near the city there can be a lot of signal noise so you only want to detect stronger signals, while if you're in the countryside you want maximum sensitivity because the only radar signal is probably a police radar.I still trust my Cobra and it definitely gives a good warning for police radar, but Valentines are noticeably better. I do not recommend Passports. If you're rich, buy a Valentine. If you're normal, these Cobras are the next best and should give you a good warning of police radar.***EDIT***My Cobra worked well for about 3-3.5 years until it suddenly died one day. My best guess of the cause is repeated exposure to heat when storing it in the glove box during the summers. If you want it to last, I recommend removing it from your car if it's a warm day.

What do you expect?

This is the 3rd cobra I have bought. I owned the previous version of this model that I purchased for about $200.00 - 3 years ago. My previous one was stolen out of my vehicle. Everybody keeps complaning about the accuracy & distance. As for false alarms I haven't gotten any. Obviously its is picking something up or it wouldn't be going off! I simply set mine for the city mode & shut off the VG2 alert. Mine basicly goes off for the K alerts only. I have had mine for about 3 weeks now it working just as good as my previous one did. Yes the range is on the shorter side but if you can not afford the $400 for a Valintine this will work. I used the under 13 to avoid registering an account.

I couldn't be happier with this detector. Easy to use, windshield mount is very solid, and it detects a wide array of signal types. From the speed traps it's already helped me avoid I'd say it's paid for itself several times over.

Cybersonic the best toothbrush I've ever owned!!

I have been using Cybersonic for the last 2 years and havn't had to buy another toothbrush since. It's a great product if you're really into getting a good clean brush. The small heads allow you to clean better in the back where it's usually hard to reach. I saw that amazon had the same product and wanted to update my system, a new brush as well as new heads. So overall it's a great product.

Great toothbrush, bad battery! Stay away!

I owned both Cybersonic 2 and Cybersonic 1 versions. I have to say that it is a pretty revolutionary toothbrush. Very easy to use and cleans exccellent without a doubt. The only problem is the battery! It usually dies very fast and cannot be replaced. Fast means even in few weeks. I followed all charging instructions, yet had no luck. This is not a single case, even a replacement toothbrush from "Bed Bath & Beyond" had the same problem. I've had 3 of these, but I finally got the clue! My recommendation to you is stay away from this product, it is probably a waste of your money. Moreover, Amden Corp. which is the manufacturer of this product is known for their horrible attitude and customer service. They were reported to the Better Business Bureau by hundreds of unsatisfied consumers.

great brush best ive had so far

this is my second purchase of this machine. it is very well and the bristles on the head have a medium feel to them. it charges easily through the base and its waterproof.the issue with dealing with the company when the toothbrush stops working you send it back in for 35 bucks. i was about to do that when i seen the toothbrush on sale here at amazon for 27 dollars. so i got it at a lower price. i got good customer service and i have enough heads to last me for a good while having 2 machines with extra parts. so i say buy it. its either that or your old spread bristle head manual toothbrush... good luck on your decision. i hope my opinion was helpful
