The Tripp Lite SMART3000RM2U 9-Outlet Smart Pro Rack/Tower Line-Interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply is ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in any application calling for upright tower or 19-inch rackmount UPS protection. Common applications include any mix of servers, workstations, hubs, routers, concentrators, IP telephony and traditional PBX switching systems. Its 3000VA, 2250-Watt output power capacity is compatible with North American 120V 60Hz power standards. Dual-boost AVR circuits boost undervoltages by 14% or 24% depending on the severity, and reduces overvoltages by 12%. The included PowerAlert UPS monitoring software supports safe unattended shutdown, monitoring and control via local connected servers, plus any number of additional servers over IP. This unit is protected by a two-year warranty and provides $250,000 of connected equipment insurance.

Good UPS, Good Price

After a pair of not-very-old APC UPSes failed about three years ago, I replaced them with this Tripp Lite model. They've been working nicely. I just recently replaced another pair of UPSes with this model.

First impression was not good

Received the unit for our server room, but it had two issues: 1) A medium sized "dent" in the case, and 2) the unit buzzed loudly. Sent the unit back and still have not received a replacement or credit yet. Kind of frustrating.

I use a lot of UPS's for server and storage backups. I just received 7 of these in February, they have worked perfectly since then. I just ordered 4 more today.
