Product Description
Box frame construction. Fully sealed solid rail (six sided) extension system, eliminates deflection, extension crash, and delivers the smoothest sliding available. Metal stand-offs will not break off in cold weather. Stand-offs 1/4" thick, avoid bowed stu ds and will not get hung up when the level is being stored or removed from storage. Stand-offs are raised off of the floor 1/2". The plumb vial is permanently positioned 66-1/2" off of the floor and will not slide out of view when the extension is being u sed. The best level you can buy

Being a framing contractor for 28 years I have used many different levels.Stabila levels are hands down the best that I have used.I have bought about 6 of the extendable levels for my subcontractor crews and they are rough with levels. Unlike others, I'm getting good alignment and no free movement at 10' out to 12'. This is a very large and wide level and I'm trusting that it will prove as bullet-proof, durable and true as the other six Stabila's I have. If I start getting any drift, I'll update this page, so take the absence of an amendment by me as evidence that this plate level is staying true from this date (07-05-2006) in regular use in framing construction.

Nice level! Don't know how I got along without it. Good for plumbing walls and ridge poles (or gable trusses). I've had a Stabila 4' and an 8' level for years now and have held up to the jobsite abuse. I'm sure this one will too.
