Quality machinery

I wanted a quality high-speed drill to use primary with wire brushes for paint stripping and metal finishing. After burning up my father-in-laws drill I bit the bullet and bought my own.I've been thoroughly impressed with this drill. The removable power cord is a nice touch. I've been able to run the drill at prolonged high speeds without overheating problems. I have not had a problem controlling the speed.Overall, I would definitely make the purchase again. If I had one request it would be to include a case with the drill.

Milwaukee Drill Delivers Powerful Punch

The Milwaukee 0101-20 7 Amp 1/4 in. drill is an excellent tool with low weight and just the right balance. I removed the 1/4 in. keyed chuck from mine and installed a 3/8" all-metal keyless Milwaukee chuck for greater versatility. The Quick-Lok cord furnished standard with the tool is a very nice feature; if the cord becomes severed or damaged it can be easily replaced. Although expensive (but worth every penny), this product is proof that "dynamite comes in small packages".

This is a 4000 rpm max drill, that is too fast for some accessories, such as a 5" sanding disk. The varible speed is sensitive, and is difficult to keep the rpm down. The high speed makes the drill best suited for very small (1/8" or so) drills. Otherwise it is a fine Milwawkee product with a nice tight keyed chuck.

I purchased this from Amazon and really feel it's a great deal for the money. I've used it extensivly and it works very good. You really feel safe on the roof or anywhere it's used, IF used properly. You must use it properly for your saftey. It comes complete with all you probley would need. You must read the instructions carefully and secure it properly for safe use. It's a must for getting on your roof and is a VERY good value for the money. Your life depends on this item and everyone should use one if on a roof properly. Get it!

Great product, poor instructions

The fall protection kit worked great. I have an extremely steep roof. I haven't done any roofing in about ten years, and I've never before worked on a roof so steep that I felt the need for a rope and harness. I felt completely secure up there... that is, after I figured out how it all worked.The instructions are, at the same time, overly complicated and missing basic information. The complication is mainly due to required liability, legal mumbo-jumbo. The lack of clear cut basic information is just wrong. Other than following the pictures on the box there was nothing indicating which way the shock-absorbing lanyard should attach and very little on how the harness works. Those aren't the biggest issues, though. The proper use of the actual fall-arresting ascender is more of a problem. It needs to be noted that your weight cannot be on the device while down-climbing. If you pull on the device itself, it will slip down the rope. This may be obvious to those who have used these before, but not to the uninitiated. Pulling on the rope is fine, and necessary; the device will hold. Grab the body of the device on the way down and it comes with you. Hold the rope, not the device. Be careful.I tested out the whole system hanging barely above the ground before going onto the roof. So, I sorted out these issues before they could have been dangerous.If you've never worked on roofs or done climbing with ropes, I would not recommend this package. Instead, get a pro to do the work. Too many serious accidents occur to take the risk.

Does the trick safety set up

Nice, simple system for roof safety, I feel much safer on my steep roof slopes for service work, I permanently installed a double sided peak ridge anchor to always be able to lock in safely for house service work. It all fits back in the bag, the harness strapping can be a little confusing at first but I figured it out quickly, the ascender works smoothly & the price is good - I feel confident enough to use it in lean back rappeling position!

I am extremely pleased with the rich, clear sound of my 520 receiver. DVD with optical cable is absolutely great. I had limited experience in home theater. So the setup was one step at a time; first the Denon speakers, tried the FM (very good), the Phillips DVD870P came next with optical out, then the VCR. I made at least three trips for various cables and speaker wire. One call to Harman/Kardon tech support. The call was promptly answered by a support tech (Steve). Steve must have thought that I was the village idiot, but he was pleasant and helpful. The remote is backlighted, it can balance the home theater speakers automatically, the on screen display is easy to use and the unit controls numerous audio/video sources, tape deck, TV, dvd, games... plenty of hookups. Plus there is a second remote... for listening to another source in a different room.The more I play with it, the more I learn I can do with it, but mostly I enjoy listening to full spacious music without having to crank up the volume. I would not hesitate to recommend the AVR-520.

Awesome sound - would buy another

Don't be fooled here by reviewers that don't read the manual! This is an AWESOME amp! Using with JBL studio front, center and powered subwoofer, Audiosource 100 watt in-wall speakers. This amp powers them all with ease. I can't turn the amp volume all the way up, it's so loud, it hurts! Dolby 5.1 and DTS are immersive. Sure, the manual won't win a pulitzer, but it does the job. Common sense is also a must (lacking by some quick-to-complain reviewers here). Unit runs a bit hot, make sure you have sufficient ventilation. FM tuner may need an additional FM antenna, get the best one you can (Terk hi-end). Plenty of inputs to mix and match, which you can assign. A fourth input on front w/S-video, optical, etc. Have a Sony DVD 5.1/DTS player, mid-range stereo VCR, DD satellite receiver and older LD player. No problem with ANY of these and the HK. You may want to pick up analog to S-video converters so you won't have to change the input on your TV. Get the converters from RADIO SHACK ($...) - NOT THE MONSTER VERSION ($...), RS is obviously much cheaper. This makes all your inputs from RCA jacks S-video. Also - USE GOOD CABLES! Monster, Acoustical Research and some others. Not Radio Shack cables. Also use good speaker wire like Monster. YES - IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE! If you get a hum, you may need to plug the HK into it's own surge protector, check the manual. I like the remote, has a digital meter with speaker built-in to adjust your speakers! I have a large media room with 60" TV and this receiver delivers. Tested with MP3's, CD-R/W, VCD, movies like "Matrix"(the bullets whizz by!), "Gladiator", "Blade 2", "Saving Private Ryan", "Attack of the Clones" and others. Classy front looks great! This guy is heavy too, make sure you have a good cabinet to put it in.

5.1 never sounded better

For a semi-serious home theater enthusiast I have been extremely pleased with the AVR520. I switched to this reciever from an old Pioneer Elite VSX-97 and seriously consided another Pioneer Elite, Denon and Integra AVR's but found the sonic clarity unsurpassed by any of the other models. The receiver was easy to setup at the GUI was fairly easy to navigate. DVD's and CD's played on my Pioneer Elite DV F-07 DVD/CD Player have never looked or sounded better. The surround performance with this reciever is simply amazing. The Multi-room capability and the optional MP3 translator (allows MP3 playback from your computer through your reciever) are great additonal features.
