5Effective, Great-smelling Dish Soap
By gliondar
I really like Earth Friendly's almond-scented dish soap. It has a very pleasant scent that's a nice change from the typical citrus or floral scented soaps, and it is a very effective cleanser. As advertised, a little does go a long way, but you may find yourself using more than necessary when you first begin to use this product, since it does not produce the abundant amount of suds you are likely used to with other more mainstream dish soaps. Don't let the lack of fluffy suds fool you--I've found this soap to be comparable to other brands in terms of cutting grease. Most of all I appreciate the fact that this natural product is biodegradable and more environmentally friendly than more mainstream brands.

5Truly hypoallergenic - i.e. not allergenic. Powerful cleaning! Nice subtle scent.
By lost_gecko
My family has problems with skin sensitivities and allergies. Other brands, such as Dawn, would sometimes give us itchy rashes. So we tried this, and were pleasantly surprised. We are not fanatical about earth-friendly or natural products, but are becoming converts after trying this. We were worried that it would not clean well. However, it has worked great. This cleans well, including greasy pots, pans; and greasy plastic too. In comparison, Dawn is only a tiny bit better at handling grease; but this Dishmate product is almost as good at cleaning, yet it seems gentle on my hands. No rashes in the 3+ years we have been using it. And better for the environment.I have a sensitive nose, and normally detest air fresheners and flowery perfumes. This has a mild, subtle scent of natural almond and is not perfume-y. The bottle purchased 1-2 years ago seemed to have a stronger almond scent. The bottle purchased recently has such a mild scent, I can barely smell it. I actually miss the stronger almond scent. It is also available in pear scent, and perhaps others. And it is available in single bottles of course, not just the bulk carton of 12 as listed here.A little goes a long way. It doesn't create as much foamy bubble-suds as some brands; so at first glance you might mistakenly think you are getting a less-concentrated watered-down product. However, in terms of cleaning power, it seems to be about as equally concentrated as the well-known heavily-advertised brands.

5I use it on everything I own; I mean everything!
By ellenwheelz
After trying many "eco-friendly" products, especially dish liquids, I was becoming very disappointed. I was so chemically sensitive, I would often feel bad for the rest of the day if I spent much time in contact. The skin does absorb the chemical ingredients. I eventually figured out that the SLS or SLES(anything with lauryl or laureth or similar terms) were the ingredients that were making me spacy and fatigued. And they are right in there in many of the so-called healthy alternative detergents! One company, Seventh Generation, uses flowery, eco-obfuscating language; they never tell you that their product actually contains sodium laureth sulfate (similar in structure to sulfuric acid), the cheapest of sudsing agents, which is found in almost all "mainstream" personal care items; dish detergent, body wash, shampoo, etc. When I went to their website to complain, they replied that they use "a mix of functional descriptions and specific ingredients on...labels", to "allow us to refine formulas without the expense of having to reprint labels with each refinement". And just try to uncover from their website, what the actual ingredients are. I am admittedly not a computer genius (read brain fog), but it took an unreasonable amount of digging to uncover the ingredient list. The point of my review here for Dishmate Liquid is, after I found it to be so body friendly that I could have prolonged contact without sensitivity symptoms, I decided to try it as a body wash (my skin was irritable no matter what I used to wash it). It was great! I no longer felt "bad" after taking a shower. It was only a matter of time before I tried it as a shampoo and, surprise, it doesn't hurt your eyes (as gentle as a baby shampoo), and my hair is beautiful!I no longer buy any soaps, body washes or shampoo. I add a few drops of essential oil to diluted Ultra Dishmate as a hand and body wash. I have recommended (and gifted) this liquid to anyone I know with allergy, chemical sensitivity, or skin problems. The best part of this is, since I have minimized contact with major sources of irritation, the entire chemical sensitivity problem has become much less prominent in my life. This Dishmate Liquid has actually improved my life! Try this. It may be a change for you too!

5All-Around Terrific Router
By Matthew Schenker
Like other Bosch tools I have used, this router is terrific. I use it in a router table, where it is delightful: it's light enough to handle when installing under the table, it's controls are easy to get to, and the height adjustment is fabulous. More on the height adjustment of this router -- I have used many other routers, but none adjust their height as precisey and smoothly as this Bosch. All you have to do it unlock the adjuster, then turn a turret, and the bit raises and lowers slowly for you. Then you lock the adjuster and you're set. The soft-start feature is also wonderful. The speed adjustment is very responsive and has many settings, which is good if you're doing raised-panel doors. As far as cutting goes, I am very pleased. The router keeps the speed constant through the wood, whether you're cutting a dado or routing a shape on the edge of a board. Once again, I have nothing but praise for another Bosch power tool.

5BOSCH does it again !
By Todd J. Niblo
As you can tell from the title, I am impressed with this router. I have had this router for about a year now and have not attempted a project that I have been any less than pleased. It is quiet and the noise it does make is smooth and almost muted compared to the high pitched PC 690 that I also have. The unit is very nicely built. Precision is a word that comes to mind. I use this one under my Rout R Lift and the D handle ( non variable ) for freehand work. Despite the fact that I love the maple handles, I still get too nervous with my hands being so close to that 25,000 rpm spindle and bit, especially after using the D-handle for sometime now. Anyway, when changing a bit this unit drops down from my Rout R Lift with a smooth controlled descent, then just release the sub base lever, depress the thumb latch a 1/4 twist and the motor is out. You can just tell by looking at this unit that it is chock full of exceptional engineering and thoughtful detail. The variable speed is very handy, the Microfine adjustment is just that, and the 2 HP is more than up to any tasks ( including some raised profile work ) that I have asked of it. Ironically, I also purchased a few BOSCH router bits, that have been excellent as well, quite the compliment to a superb router. Strong, lightweight, quiet and precise. Truly a great product that will not disappoint.

5Best Fixed-Base Router
By Richard Tabbutt
I do a lot of routing, and I've owned a lot of routers over the years. The Bosch 1617EVS is, by far, the best fixed-base router I've ever owned. The design, coupled with the exceptional manufacturing quality, will meet or exceed anyone's expectations. Its variable speed, light weight, comfortable handles, large bit capacity, and power are just the beginning. The crowning achievement is the height control. This is absolutely the best in the industry, with no competition that I've found. You really have to try it to see for yourself-- rings and racks found on the competiton not only don't compare, they're not even in the same class. Plus, this system works equally well on the router table as well as in free-hand use. The Makitas, Porter-Cables, etc., need to wake up and take notes. By the way, if you're looking for a plunge router, there is still nothing that compares with the Makita 3612C, even after 20-plus years of production. Bosch 1617EVS fixed-base, Makita 3612C plunge-base -- this is the combination the serious woodworker wants.

4Good Power For Rough Work
By Western Woodworker
This saw was purchased to replace an underpowered Black & Decker, which bogged down when ripping hardwood trim for bookcases and cabinets. The power of this saw is excellent, although DeWalt's own rip fence flopped around in the slot so badly that the trim cuts were practically useless. I tried putting tape around the rip fence to steady it in the slot, but it didn't help much. Since the saw has good power, I use it to rip plywood panels to size before precision trimming. For basic construction and framing, this saw would probably be more than adequate, but not for precision trim cuts. As others have reported, the shoe flexes too much (probably because DeWalt tried to keep it as lightweight as possible), and when combined with the shaky rip fence slot, it will probably give rough edges to your trim.

2Too much flexibility
By A Customer
This saw is a step up from my old black and decker, and the saw has plenty of power. But...the sole plate connection is way too flexible. It is only connected to the body of the saw by a piece of plastic housing that is about an inch wide. As I made a few test cuts the saw would not keep a 90 degree angle. The connection would flex and I would end up with a cut that was beveled 2 or 3 degrees. To me that is unacceptable for a tool costing this much. I'm taking this saw back and see if I can trade it in for the DW364.

3No brake despite what Amazon says
By A Customer
I bought this saw instead of the comparable Hitachi because it was a bit lighter and more powerfull. The product details said it has an electric brake, an essential safety feature in my opinion, but it DOES NOT! I will be returning mine and purchasing another, but not from Amazon.
